You roll over in bed and stretch your arms out, you touch something warm and solid. You quickly open your eyes to see your husband still sound asleep. You frown, last night you told him he couldn't get in bed with you, but as usual he ignored you. For a brief moment, you weigh the consequences of pushing him out of bed. Taking the opportunity, you try shoving him out of bed, only for him to grab your hands and pull you in.
"Damnit, Dagen!" You try wiggling away from him.
"Be still." He mutters. "I'm trying to sleep."
"Yes, you're supposed to be sleeping somewhere else."
"Yes, and I thought that was stupid."
"So, I'm stupid." You stop and look up at him. He opens his left eye lazily and looks down at you.
"We're not doing this." He frowns. "Now go back to sleep." You start to open your mouth to reply but he places his hand over your mouth. "Sleep."
"Fine." You frown as he moves his hand. You pick up his arm and push the blanket between you forming a barrier.
"What the hell are you doing?"
"Making sure you stay over there."
"Rune..." He sighs. "I have to get up in about an hour I promise doing something inappropriate is the last thing on my mind."
"So you don't think I'm attractive—" He clamps his hand over your mouth again.
"We are not doing this." He groans. You try to bite down on his hand, but before you can he moves it. "You know what? Fine." He pulls the blanket off of him and picks up the pillow.
"Where are you going?"
"To sleep downstairs."
"Who's in your room."
"My mother let one of the guest stay in there, and Dad is in the guest house, probably because my mother hates him."
"Who?"
"Rune."
"Who is it?"
"Do you want me to stay in bed with you?"
"Not until you tell me who."
"Gretchen."
You frown at him and roll over on to your side away from him. Why the hell was she still here? You hear him sigh before he stands up, he walks around the bed and crouches down in front of you. You push his face away and roll over to the other side of the bed.
"I don't see why your upset, I was just trying to sleep in bed with you." You don't answer. "Come on, babe." He shakes you gently. You keep your back to him. "Alright, then." He stands up and walks back to the other side of the room where to door is.
"If you leave this room, I swear to you, you won't have a wife or legs." You grunt.
"Shesh when did you get so mean."
"I'm not mean."
"I've never seen you this jealous."
"I'm not jealous."
He climbs into bed next to you and places his arm across your torso. You look down at it but you don't move it. Instead you glance up at him to see him giving you his stupid smile. You reach up and place your hand over his face to make him stop, but that only makes him laugh.
"Come on don't be like that."
"I don't know what you're talking about, Meridian."
"See, you only call me Meridian when your mad."
