Trent's POV:
Something was off about Ms. T today. Her pixie cut was messed up. Her makeup was done hastily, and her outfit was not as well put together as it normally was. I must say, I liked seeing her this way. She seemed vulnerable.
"A-alright class," she stuttered. "Umm lets open our books to page 58? Yes, page 58." Kids flipped through their books, and started whispering about the state of our teacher. The one comment that stood out to me the most came from none other than Sophia "She looks like a walking disaster." I looked this bitch up head to toe. "If that's what a disaster looks like, there is no word for you." She turns surprised, her mouth open. Before she begins to say anything, Ms. T saves me. "How about we stop talking about lord knows what, and get back to the lesson?" God I loved this woman.

Hallies POV:
I shouldn't have gone to the club last night. I was out late and forgot to set my alarm, so I only had 30 minutes to get ready. As soon as I walked in the classroom, I knew I was going to get hell from the class. Sometimes I wonder why I didn't teach kindergarten.
          When I tell the class to one their books, they take this time to talk about the state I'm in. I hear snobby remarks from the girls, and a lot of comments of how sexy I look from the guys. Then I hear him defend me. Trent looks right at me, his blue eyes piercing through me. I watch as the Sophia girl is about to go off on him, and stop before a full fight erupts in my auditorium. At the end of class, he stays behind and turns before walking out the door. "Ms. T. I don't care what the other kids say, you look fine as hell." He winks and leaves.
          My heart is beating out of my chest. I liked it, and I didn't stop him. I know how I'm supposed to behave. Why is it so hard with him.
