Chapter 7

Heyy here's chapter 7 I hope ya like it :)

Kayla's POV

Nothing really happened the next day, I was sick and came in late.

I was really confused through out the day.

Courtney was so happy for some reason.

I don't know something about a note?

I'm really tired if you can't tell...

Courtney's POV

When Kayla first texted me saying she will prob be coming in late I was kinda sad. I feel sort of lost with out her.

But today was AMAZING.

Jack put a note in my locker, expressing his gratitude towards me.

It was so romantic and cute.

I gave him a big hug right in front of about 70 kids.

He looked really shocked- he was probably so happy! You could just tell by the expression!

Jacks POV

Oh.

My.

God.

How could I be so stupid?

Kayla's locker is 10 down from Courtney's

I guess I got the numbers mixed up.

What am I supposed to do now?

'Sorry Courtney, that wasn't for you, it was for your friend,

I like her not you' I started thinking.

Maybe I just had to go through with it...

But she HUGGED ME right in front of dozens of people.

Couples in our school do that. Not two random kids. That gets everyone talking.

I wonder what they're saying right now....

*phone vibrates*

I go to look at my phone and I see a text from Courtney:

'Hey baeee wanna hang out this Friday, my place? Around 8 my parents are going out for the night' she said

'Ill see if I'm free' I said back

I had to go through with this.

I can just say it was a misunderstanding, that'll shatter her heart.

I'll do what just about every single kids TV show does.

Go on a date, be totally disgusting, and make her want to break up with me!

'Does popcorn and horror movie marathon sound good?'

She suddenly texted

'Absolutely :)' I said back

'Okay...

Come over around 9-ish' she said

'Will do'

'Well, this is gonna be intresting...' I thought to myself

Kayla's POV

I didn't go to school the next few days, I got really sick.

And quite frankly, I'm glad

Courtney has been acting really weird lately, she was so happy...

I haven't seen Taylor around, I think I heard someone say he went on vacation to the Bahamas

Why couldn't he have taken me there with him??

Jack has been acting really weird lately too.

Earlier this week,

He texted me asking if I got anything special in my locker

Like what the hell does that mean

I was terrified to go into my locker for the rest of the day

But that was right around the time when Courtney started acting weird.

I don't really know.

I'm so lost I have no idea what's going on

Jacks POV

(A few days have passed)

It was Friday night, at around 8pm

I was so nervous like what if I actually, enjoyed the date.

That would be a total plot twist

I paced around the house and I eventually noticed my dad wasn't home.

"God it's 8 o'clock you think someone would be home" I said to myself

I heard the door open

"Jack!" I heard a deep voice yell from the front door.

"Sorry I'm late... I had to stop at the... uh store." He said

What makes me think he wasn't at the store?

Was it the distinct smell of alcohol in his breath orrrrr?

Whatever, I don't have time to deal with my drunken father.

I started walking down the street to Courtney's which was about 4 blocks away

I looked like a slob

I was wearing an old white tshirt, a pair of underarmour sweatpants, and a pair of nike slides

When I got to her house I rang the doorbell and instantly heard a dog start barking like crazy

Courtney opened the door

"Oh my goodness don't you look cute, as always!"

"Thanks"

I wasn't gonna compliment her, though she did look pretty nice for watching movies

I walked in and what I saw shocked me

IM SO SORRY THAT I HAVENT BEEN UPDATING omg it's getting crazy but I'm on summer break now (hallelujah)
