The Beach

I am exceedingly ashamed to say that (even though we are super awesome) our conversation topics suck. Really, we spent a whole twenty minutes talking about food and how bored we were.

(So remember kids, just because we’re superhuman, doesn’t mean we’re interesting.)

“Why are we walking on the sand? Doesn’t it slow us down?” Sammie asked.

“Because we are,” Jackson said. “Walk faster.”

            Seth chuckled, “Don’t mean, Jackson.”

“I don’t understand why we all had to split up,” I said, looking back down the beach.

“Safety,” Camron said. “If they get to us they’ll only get a few of us, not all of us.”

            I looked around, “They?”

“Besides, if they put us all together, we’ll probably end up burning down the forest,” Raymond said.

“Camron will end up burning down the forest. The rest of us will just watch and laugh,” Seth said.

“We could still do that,” I said.

Seth laughed and hip checked me, “We can’t burn down the forest,” he said. “We might get in trouble.”

            I pouted, “Well that sucks.”

“You like destruction, don’t you?” Raymond asked with a grin.

            I smiled, “It amuses me.”

Taylor laughed, “You are an odd person.”

I shrugged at Taylor and kept smiling as I watched Jackson appear (literally appear) behind Raymond and trip him, “Jackson,” Alexis said, slapping Jackson’s arm. “Don’t do that.”

Jackson stuck his bottom lip out at Alexis, “I didn’t do anything.”

Alexis rolled her eyes and Raymond pushed Jackson into a tree, “Really, Raymond?” Taylor asked as she slapped Raymond’s arm.

“You guys are so abusive,” Sammie said.

Alexis shook her head. “We’re not abusive, they’re just idiots.”

“They’re not idiots, they’re just misguided,” Taylor said.

Seth laughed and I poked his side, “Don’t laugh, you’re misguided, too.”

“I am not misguided,” Seth said with a chuckle before he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder.

“Seth! Put me down,” I yelled, beating my hands against Seth’s back.

“Nope,” Seth said, running away from the group.

Taylor and Alexis laughed and started to chase Seth, “Give her back, Seth,” Raymond yelled.

“Nah. She’s going for a swim,” Seth said.

“Seth, don’t you dare,” I said.
