Third Person:

She stood me up. The thought circulates in Draco's head as he leaves the owlery. A clutter of shouts comes from the main hallway, but he is too far away to hear it. "I can't believe it. I'm so stupid!" He takes the rose he holds in his hand and slams it onto the floor, crushing it with his shoe. Shouts and sobbing echo through the main hall, and Draco's head snaps up.

"Hermione! Hermione wake up!" A female voice screams and sobs at the same time.

"Ginny, stop! Let Madam Pomfrey do her thing!" Draco'd reconise that voice anywhere. Harry Potter.

"But she could be dying! She just collapsed, and I don't...." She trails off. Draco runs towards the sobbing and sees almost the whole of the Gryffindor house with panicked and worried looks on their faces. Ginny stands in the front, sobbing, with Harry's arms around her, holding her back. Ron has a fear stricken face on standing behind Harry.

"What happened?" Fear fills the gaps in Ginny's eyes as Draco speaks. Ron looks up, disgust written on his face.

"What do you care, Malfoy?" I asked about her, not you, Weasley. Ginny panicking looks from Ron to Draco, giving Draco a look that says, "I know about you and Hermione."

"I care about her, so tell me what happened." Before Ron can respond, Ginny steps forward.

"She was sitting on her bed, we were talking about her wanting to go to the owlery, and she suddenly started screaming, and sobbing, and she fell on the floor and she was in so much pain. I think a sixth year ran for Madam Pomfry." She looks at Draco pleadingly.

"Why would she want to go to the owlery?" Ron speaks, and notices the silent communication between Ginny and Draco. He thinks about it for a minute, and then lunges for Draco. He wraps his hands around Draco's neck and presses him to the wall. "You're lying." Tears form in Ron's eyes. "She would never cheat on me. She loves me."Ginny steps forward as Draco gasps for air.

"Ron, she never liked you like that. She's always liked Draco. Always." Tears fall down Ron's cheeks and Draco tries to fight against the hands cutting off his air supply. Ron's hands slacken some.

"You're lying." Ron takes his hands off Draco's neck. Then fury floods his eyes and he brings his fist back and lets it fly, hitting Draco's nose and blood flies on his face. "Get out of my face, Death Eater."

"Not anymore." Draco pushes his sleeve up to reveal a scab that reaches from his elbow crease to his wrist. Ron, Harry, and Ginny exchanged shocked looks.

"I did this for her, Weasley." Despite the screaming voice inside his heart, Draco storms off to his dormitory, tears falling down his cheeks. He wipes them away, and whispers to himself. "I will do anything for her."
