Here's a new chapter hope you have enjoyed the story so far, haven't made up my mind just yet, but the next chapter will contain the wedding and the chapter after that will highlight their honeymoon and their return home, then the epilogue will be the last chapter.  Again I would like to thank all of you that took time to check out my story, that voted and commented I enjoyed reading the comments.

Chapter 68

I woke up this morning the sun beaming through the window.  At last they day I’ve been waiting for these last eight months.  Today was the day that I would become Mrs. Vincent Taricone.  I was so excited and yet I was terrified, because I didn’t want the same thing to happen today that happen all those many months ago. 

I decided I would get up and go downstairs and get breakfast started after all I had guests here and it would be very rude of me to not feed my family.  Mom, dad, Ebony, Royce, Alex, Maume and K all stayed at my house. When I reached the bottom step, I could already smell breakfast being cooked.

“Good morning sweetheart.”

“Good morning dad, how are you this morning?”

“I’m just fine princess; I am just making some breakfast for everyone because today’s going to be a long day.”

“Daddy I am so nervous, I don’t know if I am ready.  I thought I was ready when Kevin and I were engaged to be married, but now I’m not so sure.”

“Come here sit here on my lap and talk to your daddy.”

“Uh daddy, I’m not a little girl anymore, so I’ll sit right here beside you.”

“No right here on your daddy’s lap.  Didn’t it always make you feel better when you would sit in my lap and lay your head on my shoulder?”

“Yes, but I haven’t done that since I was 16.”

“Come on humor your old man, you are my last daughter to get married and you are my baby.”

“Ohhh daddy, you are a mess.  Where is mom?”

“She’s still asleep; she had a rough night last night.”

“What do you mean she had a rough night last night?”

“After dinner last night and everyone went to bed she just got very emotional because you’re getting married and Ebony is pregnant and due in a few months.  She’s just excited to see her baby getting married and her oldest is having her first grandchild so she’s just overwhelmed with happiness.  We stayed up until about 3 a.m. so I didn’t bother waking her up to fix breakfast I decided I would do it instead.”

“Aww daddy that is so thoughtful of you.  I hope Vincent and I grow old together like you and mom have and still be in love with each other after 35 years of marriage.”
