Bobbie's p.o.v

We strode up to Maha and Adelaide. It was time to take our path to freedom. I leaned heavily on my leg that wasn't wounded.

"Kill me," I heard myself whisper.

What? What was wrong with me.

I guessed it was something to do with Emma's words. Watch, Insanity? Almighty dragon? Saviour? Death? The end is nigh?

"Why should I?" Maha questioned.

"I don't understand," I chocked, tears flowing from my eyes, "Why? Why do we live in this wretched world?"

Then it made sense. Death is the saviour. Freedom. But nevertheless, I wasn't going without a fight.

"Come on," I chocked, tears drying up, "Let's fight."

Maha nodded and clutched her daggers tightly. Addie gripped her bow. She looked different somehow...

An arrow flew and hit Demi.

"No!" I gasped, running to her side.

Addie hit my spine as I turned to my comrade. It paralysed me and I lay helpless on the floor. She pulled me over so I saw her face.

That's it. She had a strange marking over her left eye. Faint but still.

Maha passed her a dagger and a strange smile spread across her face as she struck it through me.

I had it wrong. Emma's message.

Watch Insnaity. She meant watch as insanity spread. Or did the insanity always exist in her. Well she meant watch her. Adelaide. Pure Insanity.

Almighty dragon. Saviour. The dragon. The old myth of long ago. The dragon. The end is nigh. Death. The end will result in death but it will be the end of the horrible life we live. We'll have equality back again. That's it.

I watched in the seconds before my vision died as Demi was killed. Ruthless. I guess it's just their style.

I bumped into her again. I wish I had strangled her. I wish.
