Marco's Pov

Kyle Tenor had been my bully since the first couple minutes I had walked into the school. I was an easy target so he chose me. Kyle had this emotionless mask on twenty four seven. He doesn't seem to respond emotionally to anything. He does have a huge ego and his pride is something he holds above everyone. He has perfect grades, is relatively wealthy and everyone loves him. Except me of course. I am Marco Lester one of the weakest people you could ever have the misfortune to meet. What happens when I end up with the upper hand against my bully in a way no one could have ever imagined

(A Few days prior.) The store was cold from the open fridge and freezer doors in the back. I pulled my sweatshirt tighter around my shoulders trying to ignore the very evident headache the LED lights were giving me. I stepped forwards in line at the checkout. Finally I was able to pay and leave. I hate grocery shopping but my mom was so busy I wouldn't dare put that stress on her shoulders as well. My dad left when I was a child so my mother was forced to raise me and might I say she did a wonderful job. I have good morals, I work hard in school, I don't plan revenge on anyone besides Kyle Tenor. I'm a relatively good child. As I stepped out from the store the autumn air hit my face. I smelt the wet and crisp leaves that covered the ground like a portrait filled with browns, reds, and oranges. Hearing the crunch as people walked by was calming and put my wild thoughts to rest.

I crossed the street immediately in a better mood now being outdoors. I turned the corner and stifled a gasp at a rather peculiar sight. Kyle Tenor was playing a child's game with a CHILD! Kyle Tenor doesn't play with children. Last time I checked he was still a ruthless bully. I saw the girl with her hands out to him like they were a door. He pushed it open after she said something and then she said something else. He responded begrudgingly his emotionless mask never leaving his face. She said something before giggling although It kind of looked like cackling. Kyle seemed angry or annoyed at what she had said last so he turned and as soon as his eyes landed on me emotions flicked across his features. They were gone before I could really see them. He looked like he was about to brush it off when something really strange happened. Out of nowhere a black choker/collar started materializing around his neck. When it was fully there you could clearly see the dark blue pearl at the front along with the silver lace that covered the whole thing. It was actually beautiful.

I stood in shock. He looked the same before he looked upset and tried to pull it off. It seemed like he couldn't do it for the life of him no matter how hard he had tried. I was so caught up in the strange moment I hadn't even realized the girl was still there but she was smirking evilly. "So this is Marco... What a coincidence." She seemed very smug about something or another. "What's coming your way Kyle is what you deserve for what you did to my grandma... and don't forget what I told you." She sauntered off towards an old shop.

I looked at Kyle who looked extremely uncomfortable in his skin and had a light blush sprawled across his cheeks. I don't know why but I had the sudden urge to help him even though he had ruined my life. I quickly caught him because he looked like he was going to pass out. He immediately calmed at my touch. His skin was burning.
