Oblivious to the world she lay, consumed in silent slumber. She was overwhelmed , the subtle memory, fresh and anew. The one she feared the most. Her sun-kissed skin glowed , tainting her cheeks with a rosy glow, while her raven black hair bounced off her slender frame. She had grown beautiful. Her hazel eyes held his physique. She watched him; as he conquered his domain. He played with passion, the rare kind. Within  a matter of seconds, the walls that she had strenuously built crumbled down, piece by piece. Two years of agony and grief got the best of her as she savored  that precious moment. And it was all worth it, every second of it.

As her eyes were trained on him, she realized, it was time to let go, she had to walk away again. She loathed it. She questioned  how twisted and cruel her fate was. She turned her back on him, ignoring the minute hope beaming within her, praying he would return her gaze.Little did she know, that he was making his way to her . The sound of her name rolling off his tongue , rang like a melody to her ears. 'Is it really you?' he beamed. Her coy simper said it all , before he embraced her . The all too familiar scent. She had missed him. This is what had terrified her . She feared the flame would rekindle.
