CHAPTER 1 A crazy day.
"Lil!" my best friend clair yelled as i got out of my car.
"Clair!"i yelled back just as happily as she did.
" When were you going to tell me about, um whats his name-"
"Josh" i said befor she could even finish her sentence.
" Yeah him. I had to hear it from Rachel." Clair said with a scrunched nose. wich made me laugh because she is so pretty even when she makes ugly faces.
She has beautiful cheek bones. and a smile that looks like a million dollars ever since she got her braces off and her eyes are the prettiest blue that are to die for. She is about five foot five and has the body of a model.
" I was gonna tell you yesterday but you wouldn't answer you'r phone. Plus, it's not like me to hide stuff from you." I said while grabbing her arm so we could head to class. It's not entirly true that i tell her everything. Last year i had a crush on her brother and i might even still do. But who knows he is her twin so it would be a little wierd because even though they look nothing alike, there is still a rule that i cant date her brother. Well in my head its a rule.
" hey Lils" jake said while i 'accidently' bumped into him while getting my stuff out of my locker.
" H-hey Jake what are you doing here?" i asked while trying to figure out why he was next to me locker, while his was down an entirely different hall.
" I came to ask you a favor" jake said with a wink.
" What is the big favor i can do for my best friends brother" i staited. Yup he was clair's twin, and yes i still had a crush on him, but hey dont blame me for liking a quarter back of a high school football team, that has brown eyes with a touch of green and a lovely smile that makes any girls heart just melt.
" Well, You know how i needed a date for prom?" He said while starting to get a little shy. Man is he cute when he gets like that. oh yeah back to the topic.
"Yeah. Why. I thought u were gonna ask mia?" i tried not to sound like i was about to burst with joy if he asked me.
" Well she cant go because she has this thing with her parents... So um i was woundering if you could help me ask Rachel.?" He half asked half said, and then i realized that Clair was standing right next to me. i guess he doesn't like to talk about girls when his sister is around. So he just turned around and left.
"Talk to you later!" i yelled after him.
when i turn to look at clair she had tears in her eyes and was trying to hold back a wimper. I could tell she wasn't going to last much longer so i grabbed her arm, pulled her into the nearest ladies room and shut the door behind us. That was it she let it out in a long cry, while tears ran down her cheeks and her make up started to smudge. She slide to the floor and while sitting up she started to rock her self trying to calm down.
I had no idea what to do so i sat down on the floor next to her and asked " Who do i need to kill?"
She knew by the way i said it that i was not kinding. Even though she is the only one that knows my secret she is also the only one that knows i would never hurt her. I told her last year on my sixteenth birthday not to come to my house for at least two weeks. I knew she would never listen unless i gave her a good reason. So i decided to tell her a week befor my 'birthday' what was about to happen to me. She didnt even get scared she just said ok and that she would see me in two weeks.
she looked at me still crying when she said " no one. i-i just need a good c-cry." I knew she was lying that no one hurt her but as soon as she was calm enough to speak i decided to ask her " Was it Raul? He doesn't deserve you honey. This isn't the first time that he has hurt you." as she looked up. I could feel the pain in her eyes.
