AND WHEN THE CURTAINS FALL...
Nestled in the crook of Cape Cod, the idyllic coastal town of Northwood, Massachusetts has been putting on a play since 1807, and its prestigious secondary school Northwood Preparatory has taught generations of the elite how to gain the power they need to keep the show going. But when the wrong pair of hands seize this power and one of Northwood's best actresses ends up brutally murdered, two centuries of performance are threatened at last. As atrocity follows atrocity and blood begins to seep through the cracks in every picturesque sidewalk, the town's citizens are forced to correct the record of history before its tide takes them with it—if they can still remember what the truth was in the first place.
When six seemingly unrelated Northwood Prep students stumble upon the aftermath of the town's most violent crime, they land themselves under the perpetrator's spotlight, and the six deadly sins are forced to meet the seventh, most corrosive one of them all.
