You sighed pushing the door closed. Your back felt horrible and at this point of the day you just really wanted to go home and relax in the tub and then get out and pass out on your bed listening to a new band you had found. You turned plunging the unnecessary amount of keys into your pocket and turned, happy to be heading home where there was some peace and quiet. Only getting a few paces from the work office you were suddenly pushed over by someone. Standing up quickly you opened your mouth to yell at them but only could stare at his white hair.
“Sorry about that.” The man scrambled to his feet and smiled cheekily. You stopped yourself from rolling your eyes. So he’s one of those guys then… You thought.
“It’s nothing, I should have been watching where I was going…” You grumbled.
“Oh geez, I-I think you’re bleeding.” He said glancing down at your knee. You also glanced down and saw exactly what he saw. Laughing lightly you looked back at him.
“It’s just a scrape, calm down.” You sighed.
“I’m so sorry.” He whined. You shook your head.
“It’s fine, see, I didn’t even feel it from before, so of course it’s not hurting me.” You explained. This seemed to calm him a little.
“I should help you home.” He sighed worriedly.
“No thanks.” You objected.
“Why?” He asked.
“Because, I’m not a little kid.”
“But…” He started.
“Bye, nice to meet you…?” You said.
“The name’s Gilbert!” He called. You smiled lightly walking away.
“Well nice seeing you.” You murmured. That night you lay in the tub and your thoughts kept returning to the albino, you noted that since he was in fact albino, he wouldn’t be able to walk around at day, so your chances of running into him were very low. You shook your head. Why would I even want to run into him again?! You asked yourself. After soaking for a while you wrapped yourself in a soft robe and passed out on the bed not even bothering to listen to the music on your MP3 player. The next day was the same routine. Wake up, take a shower, get dressed, put together a peanut butter sandwich with a small bag of chips and head out with a giant stack of papers. Once you arrived at work you sighed and opened the door. You knew today was going to be a long and boring day. Everyday was like that. Stumbling into the small office like building you cursed under your breath as you set the papers down but instead of staying, they slid, flying out everywhere.
"Just perfect." You grumbled. Walking back over you shut and locked the door. There were pros to running a single person business but the were also cons as well. Bending down you gathered all of them together and started the day. By mid-afternoon you had only been able to get at least five customers which was better than usual. Sitting at the one and only front desk you decided that no one would be coming in, seeing as how it was lunch time already. Pulling out your brown bag that was now all crumpled you fished out your tiny bag of chips and sandwich. Picking apart the sandwich and eating bit by bit you sat back sighing you only had five minuets left then back to work! You whirled you chair around seeing as there was nothing left to do. You nearly jumped when you realized that there was someone standing there.
"Uh...sorry about that sir, do you need help with anything?" You asked. The man nodded.
"Yeah, my brother and you met last night, under the circumstances of him being a little reckless...." The man started.
