Chapter 12: Black and White (Future)

This isn't my first raid if we're being honest. I was about 13 when I raided a mafia hideout. I was hired by the mayor to go with a special swat team to infiltrate a mafia headquarters. They were trafficking drugs and human organs like girl scout cookies. They had thousands of people scammed into debt with them, threatening them to make them pay back the debt or they'd ruin their life. They got all the intel by sending their own man as bait and got all the information to find where these bastards were running things.

"Leave no one alive. I want them gone."

The words echoed in my ears.

A kid was about to gun up a mafia.

The door exploded from a breach charge and tear gas was thrown into the building. We put on our gas masks and I immediately ran in. Whenever a person appeared through the gas I shot them down and continued through the building. I was eventually past the gas but kept my gas mask on just in case. I continued making my way down, shooting and ducking to cover like I was trained to.

It was bloody. It was a bit scary to be honest too. A kid should never have to do something like this.

Then again though... Somewhere deep down in my soul... part of me got a rush from this...

"Azura!" Someone called out to me and next thing I knew a Follower fell down in front of me. The Monokuma head sparking from the bullet hole that was now there.

"Thanks Yin." I smile at her and she nods back to me. We continue through the building, Ares was mowing down whatever appeared behind us with the big guns, making sure they went down. I led the charge with the twin pistols I had equipped. I always felt a pistol to be natural to me. I'm quite the sniper too but it wouldn't be effective for a raid. We started fighting Monokuma's but as we went more in it switched to Followers. Felt a little bad killing humans but we really didn't have a choice in this kill or be killed scenario.

It was all going quite well...

Until it happened.

A loud roar echoed the halls and we turned.

At the end of the hall was a huge ass bear. I'm talking huge. This was no normal bear. I mean that was a given considering half of it was black and the other half was white

"Is that a fucking ACTUAL REAL Monokuma?!" Yashiro's eyes widen

"Azura, Suki, Yin! Go on ahead!" Ares yells to us.

"We got this!" Rin had a reassuring smile although she was hiding behind Sena.

We all nodded and ran off ahead down the hall.

"Think they can handle it?" Yin asks

"It's just a bear! They have guns. Its no problem... right?" Suki asks

I was unsure. That was no normal bear. It was bigger than most and not to mention how it looked like a Monokuma. It could have just painted fur... right? "...Yeah they'll be fine." I replied to them.

We eventually came across a large door. We broke it down and entered into a lare circular chamber. On the other side of the room was an elevator. We started moving forward but then stopped at the sound of a famiar voice.

"It's not kind to keep people waiting. Wouldn't you agree, brother?"

"It's also rude to steal our weapons!"

Suddenly my hands hurt and the guns were no longer in my hands. On the other side of the room were the twins that had appeared in our HQ to tell us about Arvo.

"Proper introductions are in order." The one in all white said. "I am Shiro Kibo." He smiles and bows. He was holding the black pistol. "My brother here is..."

The one in full black started speaking "Burraku Zetsubo." He was holding the white pistol.

"Now we were sent here to kill you... Suki Yukisura and Yin Raijin." Shiro presses the elevator button and the doors opened. "Azura Otonashi, you are allowed to proceed. Our Master wishes to speak with you." He smiles.

"Uhm... Are you actually stupid? I'm not leaving behind Suki and Yin." I stand my ground

"Azura... we got this." Suki smiles

"Think we're gonna get beat by some monochromatic assholes?" Yin smiles as well.

"...I don't have a say, do I? So much for my leadership." I sigh "...Fine." I shake my head and head to the elevator. My eyes stayed lock onto the twins in case they pulled anything. As soon as I stepped into the elevator the doors closed. I turned and saw Suki and Yin.

And then the elevator shot upwards, heading to the top of the tower.

The elevator would stop and when it opened I was greeted by a large flight of stairs that led further up "Couldn't just make an elevator go to the top floor? Had to have stairs?" I sigh and start climbing up the stairs.

Yashiro, Ares, Sena, Alice, and Rin were fighting a bear, let's call him Monobear.

Suki and Yin were fighting Shiro and Burraku.

And I... was about to see the Mastermind.

Suki Yukisura, the Mastermind of The Detective Hunt was the first I met. She was there the entire time and I didn't even suspect a thing. I was foolish.

Roy Zero, the Mastermind of The Killing Game of Class 75 was the second one. He was forced into Ultimate Despair and made us kill each other. Either all of us died if he declined or there would be the chance some of us survived in the killing game. He sacrificed himself in the end.

Angel Kiyo was the third I met. She had her Remnants host killing games until she put the spotlight on herself. We couldn't capture her due to her being executed in the final moments of the game.

And now... we meet the next.

I entered the room. It had a staircase that led to the top of the tower on the right side of the room. The wall of the other side was all glass that showed the city. It was like an office. There was a desk and some chairs, some tables and shelves... the most noticable feature was the person standing in front of the glass wall.
