1 - Just a Normal Day... (kind of)

*riiinngggg* *riiiin----* 

*sound of something broke*

"Ugh... *looks to the ground with tired eyes* Just great... I broke yet another alarm clock..."

What time is it...?

I looked towards the clock that is hanging on the wall...

9 am... I should probably wake up. 

I got up from bed and began to tidy it. I then walked towards the now broken alarm clock as I made a yawn. I picked it up to whether its still working, but I doubt it will.

Surprisingly, it still works. Wow. Though, there are a few cracks. And... Now my floor has a dent. *sigh* I'll call for a repair next time. 

I went to take a quick shower and wore a black sweater and a pair of dark blue jeans. It's getting cold lately... Hope I don't get sick. It sucks you know... Ah, forgive my language. 

Since I live in a condo, I just walk towards the open kitchen and began to prepare breakfast. When I opened the fridge, there weren't much food left.

I should probably head out and buy some before I ran out of food...

 I took out two eggs and a few slices of bacon. Eggs and bacon for breakfast... Eh, better than nothing. 

I took out the frying pan, pour a bit of oil in it and waited a bit to heat. At the meantime, I went to the small living room and switched on the TV. Now it's just the boring advertisement being showed on TV. 

I hate advertisements...

I walked back to the kitchen and began to fry the eggs and bacon. 

"Today on the news is---"

*gasp* The news is on!

I quickly placed the now readied food and quickly sat on the sofa in front of the big sized TV. The sofa was soft and squishy, just the way I like it. I ate my breakfast quietly as I focus on the TV.

"Here we have a scientist, Dr. Haneul, talking to us about Hybrids. Doctor, could you please tell us more about this?"

"Of course. As we all know, Hybrids are rare in our country. However, they still exist in this wide world. Scientist are trying their best to find these rare species and take them in. Some Hybrids are afraid of people and they might harm us so I suggest that we should all be careful.

Not only that, if anyone sees a strange looking human, please contact us or the police immediately. You won't know what they will do to the humans. They're roaming around everywhere, so it's dangerous to go out alone. Therefore, always---"

*beep*

"Hybrids... Huh? Hmm... Should I hire a bodyguard... Nah~"

I finished the last slice of bacon and went to the sink. I soaked it for awhile as I went to make coffee. I placed the cup of coffee on the counter and washed the plate. After that, I took the cup and went back to the sofa and swipe my phone.

People were saying about Hybrids. Sheesh, Hybrids are still people... They shouldn't be rude to them...

But what caught my eye made me slightly angry.

'Anyone who finds a Hybrid please come to this address. We will then sell you for 1,000,000 won.'

I just quickly turned off my phone and threw it to the sofa on my opposite right.

These people... I wish they can just disappear from this world...

11am.

"Well... Since it's going to be lunch time soon, I should probably head out and find a place to eat. Oh, I have to buy some groceries too!" I exclaimed to no one and jumped up from the sofa.

Sunglasses?

Check.

Looking good?

Check.

OK! Time to head out!

It's now 11.45 am. Even though the sun is out, shinning brightly at us, it's still cold. Thank god that my coat is thick. 

There are many food stalls and restaurants and cafes along the street. I can't choose... They all look so good and delicious. I can't pick one...

As I was passing by few stalls, I saw a few cops around the area. 

Some were chit chatting, some were serious about their work, and some were just... Slacking off.

Probably about the Hybrid thing... *sigh* I'm just going to find a place and eat...

Then, I came across a pastry shop. I went in and was greeted by the waitress.

"Welcome!"

I nod my head and began to look around the shop.

Guess I'll have some of these as part of my lunch...
