Chapter Two

I was still sitting on the couch frozen. Thinking what should i do. If i don't go my father will kill me and if i go i'll have to meet him and then my father would definitely make me do something which i don't want to.

If i don't go he'll come and take me with him even if he has to drag me there. So in short, i have to go.

I get up from the couch telling Kendra that i have to go home. I stood on my house's front porch. That's it. I have to face it either way. I took a deep breath and opened the door, entered the house and closed the door behind me, carefully not to make much noise.

I went to the living room and saw everyone sitting there. My father, mother, isabelle, Alpha Kenn and another man whom i guess is his beta.

Dad noticed me and said. "You're home. Come meet Alpha Kenn and his beta Jackson. Alpha Kenn, This is my daughter Amelia."

I finay looked at him properly. He had hazel eyes and sculpted jaw. Light beard on his face. He was quited build i could tell just by looking at his arm muscles. He wore a white button-up shiry and Black jeans.

He smiled at me but when he saw me checking him out, He smirked!
I looked away and said small "Hi"

I could tell there's something wrong about him. The way he is looking at me right now. His hungry gaze was making me uncomfortable. I chose to ignore him and looked anywhere but him.

"We were just talking about you. Come sit here honey." My mom said.

I sat next to Isabelle just in front of Alpha kenn.

"So what were you talking about" I asked my mother. Not sparing a glance at Alpha kenn.

"We can talk about that later. Right now, I think you two should talk as you both are going to spend your life together. Amelia why don't you show the house Alpha Kenn to Alpha kenn!?" My father said.

He hasn't seen a house before? I asked myself.

Alpha Kenn chuckled "Yes, i have seen a house before Amelia. But i haven't seen this house before and i am sure you are the only person i want to show me around."

Shit! I think i said it out loud. I felt my face heat up and looked up to see my father glaring at me.

I stood up and motioned him to folloe me and he did... When we were upstairs he said "So... U're gonna just ignore me?"

I turned to look at him. He was looking at me with something in his eyes i couldn't catch on.

"I have a mate out there, you know"

He raised his brows at me."Well you haven't met him till now. So i guess..."

"Stop guessing ok? We both know you can't make me feel what he can. I have a mate for fuck's sake! How can you agree to this."

"It won't matter once i mate with you and mark you"

"But i'm not your mate" i glared up at him.

"Either way we're gonna get married so there's no point of this conversation. What if your mate is dead. What if he comes and reject you?"

I shut my mouth. There was no point of arguement with this douche bag.

We continued and went downstairs where my father was looking at us with hope in his eyes. I looked away not meeting his eyes.

"You two would make a perfect couple!" My mom said and i rolled my eyes at her.

"I hope so" Alpha Kenn said.

"Well then we can announce this tomorrow and whenever you two want we can have the ceremony." My father said and i froze.

"Wait what!? What do you mean? Its so fast. i don't even knoe him. I just can't ok?"

"Stop being childish Amelia. You can know each other after the ceremony too..."

"No! I can't i just can't. I have a mate out there ok? I fucking won't. You can't order me. I'm fucking tired now."

I didn't wait for a response as i ran to the pack house. I stayed there for some hours untill my wolf wanted a run.. Well me too. I want to clear my head. I got out of the house and went to the forest. I shifted not caring about the clothes and sprinted in the woods.

I ran for an hour and when i stopped i saw my surrounding only to see i was out of the pack boundry.

I started walking to a way i don't even know about untill i smelled a fascinating smell of peppermint and vanilla. I followed the scent but stopped when i heard something.

Something was behind that tree. I weny close to it carefull not to trip because of the darkness.

A figure came from behing the tree. Thats when i met those grey eyes.

Those grey eyes met my blue eyes and i felt like my heart stopped for a second.

Mate!
My wolf howled!
I can't believe i met my mate.I couldnt see his face because of the darkness.

"Mate!" He said in his melodical voice. If thats even a word.

He stepped closer to me, still looking in my eyes. And i stepped closer too. His eyes staring right inside my soul. He leaned in and brushed his lips with mine. His touch was so soft. His lips felt like the softest thing i have ever touched.

Then i heard the footstep of someone behind me. I froze. Coming back to reality and my shitty life.

i pulled back from him and turned to see the hazel eyes staring at me.

I could see the anger radiating from him. "So u finally found your mate!"

"Yeah" I said. Daring him to say something.

"So when are you gonna reject her? As you can see my fiance here is waiting and i have no time for you."

For the first time he spoke. And when he did. I didn't know to be happy or sad.

"That wouldn't be happening. Because when i keep my eyes on something, that thing belongs to me Alpha Kenn. I am no joke for you. I am Alpha Xander Anderson. Now would you like to leave because i need some time alone with my mate."
