Aaron couldn't feel his legs yet they still held him up as he trudged through the deep snow. A while back he had found some warm ashes and kept walking in that direction soon he saw smoke and knew he was so close, he could see her again soon. He heard Cullen's gruff voice yell as he fell unconscious "There he is!" he awoke in a tent covered in multiple layers of blankets he sat up with relative ease when he heard the soothing voice of mother Giselle " you should rest" "they've been at it for hours" Aaron countered the old woman chuckled " They have that luxury thanks to you" he smirked " I can thank them for the headache so lets call it even" at that moment Leliana noticed Aaron was awake and without a second thought was rushing to be by his side. As leliana started fussing about him like a mother to her child with a cold Mother Giselle started singing and many others including leliana joined in the familiar hymn. by the end of the song Both Aaron and leliana were standing just inside the tent watching people as their spirits raised all thanks to a song
Leliana watched as people grieved and looked at the man next to her Aaron was very close to her and she remembered how the thought of him sacrificing himself broke her heart, but they had never been much more than close friends but she knew they both saw what was really in each others hearts but it all felt more real when he looked her in the eyes and said it to her even if he was leaving to go kill... well what ever coryphyus is. she knew that something had changed between them and wasn't sure if it was a good thing or not. Aaron had walked back farther into the tent and sit on the cot he had been placed on when he was unconscious he noticed her staring and slashed his famous smile that still put butterflies in her stomach

She waited with baited breath as Cassandra walked with Aaron up the stairs when he saw her with the sword he stopped and looked very confused when Cassandra said " we need a leader the one who has already been leading us" only then did he nod he walked towards leliana and whispered to her " this isn't a joke right ?" she chuckled and shook her head. She handed him the sword and he took it and thrusted it in the air declaring to the crowd " Our world is under attack and we are going to take it back for the people that we have lost!" the crowd cheered and Cassandra said " where ever you shall lead us. HAVE THE PEOPLE BEEN TOLD?" she finished addressing Josephine who responded " They have" and then Cassandra turned to Cullen "WILL THEY FOLLOW?" Cullen Turned to the crowd and said " Inquisition will you follow " cheers "Will you fight?" more cheers then Cullen unsheathes his sword and points at the sky as he yells " YOUR LEADER! YOUR HERALD! YOUR INQUISITOR!" cheers get louder and they even see Josephine cheer before pretending she didn't. Leliana smiles as she stands beside Aaron who hands Cassandra the sword before turning to Leliana with the biggest smile she had ever seen on his face, He grabbed her by her waist and kissed her in front of the whole crowd. Cheering got even louder (if possible) when she wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed back.
