Chapter-1

............................

I violent shake came up on me as I was asleep. Annoyed, I turned around. "Twin! Wake the fuck up! The new people are here." I rolled my eyes and sat up, glaring at Ariana. She waved a hand at me, and smacked her lips. "You should be used to it by now."

I gave her a look and got out of bed. "Air, does it look like I want to go out there wearing this?" I pointed to my outfit. I was wearing short, pink hello kitty shorts, and a tank top. "You should see what the other girls are wearing, stop being so...." She trailed off, looking for the right word as she snapped her short, yet lanky fingers. I rolled my eyes, "Self-conscious?" I filled in.

She pointed to me, with widen eyes. "Yeah, that's the word. Now come on," She pulled my arm and forced us both out the room. "I'm coming, let me go!" She let go, and I rubbed my now sore wrist. She had a really tight and strong grip on my wrist. I walked down the stairs, and saw four boys in there Pj's, standing in the front room.

I walked over to Airana smiling, "Those are the new boys?" I whispered in her ear. She nodded her head, "Yep,"

"Don't say shit to me, I'm so freaking done." Jahi said, slamming the door behind him. He ran down stairs and sat on the couch, next to one of the boys. "Okay and? I could care less." Nayla came out the room also, fumed as much as Jahi. She walked toward the kitchen, and sat at the table. I wouldn't dare to talk to neither of them. I felt a could finger tap on my shoulder, then a hush voice whisper in my ear, "Is it always like this?"

I turned around, and came face to face with a boy with long braids. I step back a little, "I don't know, I just got here yesterday. So did they." I said. He nodded his head, "I'm Ray-Ray by the way."

"Brooklyn, Brook for short."

"They must argue like this at home," He rolled his eyes. I looked back at Jahi and Nayla, and slowly nodded my head. "Do you argue like this with your boyfriend?" I chuckled at his attempt to flirt, "I don't have a boyfriend actually. I'm not quiet looking into relationships."

He let out a steamy dark laugh, "You? Don't have a boyfriend? Impossible." I licked my lips, "No, I don't." He nodded his head, smiling. "Is there anything to eat?"

"Nope, we have to buy our own food. In fact, Ariana lets get ready to go to the store." I said. Ariana looked up from talking to Nayla. "Okay, I'll talk to you later Nayla." She walked up stairs, and into our room. "You guys are going to the store? How about everyone goes, we all need food. And that Ariana girl, that's your..." He trailed off.

"Twin sister." I smiled. I guess everyone is going to the store.

>-.---...-.-.<

"Oh, my grandmother used to eat these all the time." I said to Jordan, holding up a can of beans. "Oh. Well I-- Oh shit!" He cut himself off, as he pointed to another direction and hid behind me. "What...are you doing?"

"It's him." He said, as I raised an eye brow at him. "Who's him?"

"The cashier, Iaan. I've had a crush on him since elementary school." He looked at Iaan with an longing look. I tilted my head at him, "Eh, he's okay."

"Who is?" Ariana asked, walking up to us and putting lunch meat in the cart. "And why is he hiding behind you?" I rolled my eyes, "Jordan has a crush on the cashier."

"I did not know you were gay!" she whispered in his ear, bending a little. "I'm not gay." He pouted and moved from behind me when Iaan left. "Right, he's Iaan-sexual." I said. He blushed and I laughed, clutching my stomach. Ariana laughed and held on my shoulder for support.

"You bitches are.." He made a sour face and motioned his hand at us, playfully. He shrugged his shoulders, not finding the right words, and walked away. I pushed me and Ariana's cart down the isle of the grocery store. "We need bread, peanut butter and jelly, cereal, milk, bacon, eggs, and burritos." I said. She nodded her head, we should spend a total of seventy dollars, if that.

"We really need all that?" She asked, putting the stuff in the cart. "Yeah. That way we won't keep going back and forth to the store."

We payed for our things, and got in the car that they provided for us. They brought two cars, because it's eleven of us. Five in one car, six in the other car. We rode here with Jordan, Miranda, and Jahi. The others rode in the other car.

We made it home, got the bags out the trunk and put them in the fridge. I sat down in the front room, and turned to Life Time, to watch Criminal Minds. Ariana went upstairs to go and talk on the phone that they gave us. The others soon came in with the talking mildly. I waved to Aireel, and she came to sit next to me. "What did you get?" she asked.

"Nothing extravagant. You?"

"I'm beginning to think that you are little to smart. And not alot." I rolled my eyes and went back to my T'V show, she got up and went to put her food up. Prodigy, Princeton, and Roc-Royal went up stairs to their room. Although I noticed that Prodigy went to the phone room, where my sister was. "Whatcha watching little bit?" Ray-Ray asked, sitting next to me in the same spot Aireel was in. A smile instantly curved on my face, "Criminal Minds."

"You like that kind of stuff?"

I rolled my eyes, "Everyone's a critter. And yes, I think that it gives great view of the criminals and the detective's perspective, plus I wanna be a detective. "

"Do you know how dangerous that is?" He put his arm around my shoulder, and I ignored it. "I'm well aware. But, being a detective has it's pro's and con's." I deafened. He shook his head, with disbelief. "The fact that you might come home hurt, or even if you will come home, must thrill you.'

"It doesn't exactly get my agrilliten pumping, but it does keep me interested. Something you've failed to do this entire time," I whispered the last part in his ear. I smirked and got up from my spot and went into my room.
