Raven has found herself in a time long forgotten and with pieces of Japan's history that was kept from the books. Such as the wild mysterious races of demons that roam Feudal Era Japan.

Demons that come in humanoid form, Foxes, boars, imps, can't name all the demons. It isn't hard to spot the demons from the humans.

Yet Raven is reminded of the throne she now calls 'Mother'...Lady Inukimi..Most, yet I correct myself, she is one since there is another, yet Inukimi is one of the most Beautiful demon of her Dog Demon clan...Yet there is another of her race that stands out to be the most beautiful..or should I say handsome....Lady Inukimi's son...

Found myself spending a wonderful fall day with Mother.

Her dog demon sense's kick into over drive. Someone whom she never expected to ever see is coming in search of her.

Lady Inukimi has kept Raven, the human she took to raise..a secret for five years, yet it is not time for the world to know of her secret...at least of all her son.

Never seeing mother's son before and I wouldn't be today either. Mother hides me behind her throne before her son makes his presents known. Mother is too young looking to have a fully grown adult son.

Both mother & son have words, not very kind words for that matter.

I could hear mother as she notices her son had two human children with him. Times here have a twisted sense of humor, Demon clans look at us humans as the pets( animals-creatures) and yes at times as food to some demons.

"Sesshomaru, I thought you detested humans, yet I see you have two in your care." Mother said in a nerving coy voice that seemed to stab at her son. Mother looked from each child as she waited for an answer, I too waited to hear what his answer would be.

"Do you intend to eat them?" Mother asked as I covered up my mouth to keep from gagging. Knowing all to well I too have been her food years ago.

Her son brushes off her questions to throw one of his own at her about his father. Hearing his voice, arrogant, cold, demanding yet the voice of an angel I seemed to picture.

All became quiet, something must have happened.

Glancing at one of mother's guards, he looks at me with only his eyes. I went to sneak a peek only to seeing someone in white going into a giant black hole in the air, then it closes. Mother sounded distressed, the small creature before mother was in distress over the one called Lord Sesshomaru. I went back to hiding, chewing on a fingernail.

"Lord Sesshomaru!!!" The imp cried out. Making me get excited that something bad didn't happen to the Lord.

Again words were spoken between mother & son over the death of a child.

"Do you believe yourself to be a God...Sesshomaru?" Mother asked.

"Do not expect me to do this again." Mother said as I wondered what she was doing.

All was quiet for a time giving me a chance to sneak a look again, I only caught the four leaving. Only to have the one in white look back as if he were slapped. Yet he went on his merry way.

Something told me...he knew something wasn't quite right at his mother's palace.

I have yet to ask why mother won't let him know of me, I know we are not flesh & blood brother & sister, but we have a right to know of each other.

I watched as mother placed her necklace back around her neck. We both looked into the direction that her son left in.
