After spending about an hour in the pastry shop, I decided to call for the bill and head out. I raised my hand and the same waitress from earlier came and gave me the bill.

I gave her the exact amount of money and she gave me the receipt. I then thanked her and told her to tell whoever made these did a wonderful job.

"Thank you very much!" She bowed at me and I just waved my hand to shrug it off.

"No need to thank me. I'll come by from time to time." I told her and she beamed with happiness and did another bow.

"Please come by soon!"

"Uh... Sure. Then I'll be going then. Thanks for the food." I said and left the shop.

As I walked out the shop, the policemen from before were already gone.

I wonder where they went... Maybe because of the Hybrids...? Probably so... What else will they do...?

I looked up at the sky and notice that it was not the clear blue sky anymore. Instead, it was filled with grey clouds.

Better buy groceries fast before it starts to rain...

When I was walking towards the supermarket, something, or someone, accidentally pushed me by the shoulder. The said person then fell to the ground while I was holding my shoulder, looking at the guy on the ground.

I couldn't make up his face. Not only that his back is facing me, he was wearing a grey hoodie over his head.

"Ouch..."

I stare at him as he slowly stood up from the ground, like really slow. When he finally stood up, I saw some blood dripping onto the ground.

Is he hurt?!

When I was about to reach for him, he suddenly dashed away from my side.

...

"Geez, not even a sorry..." I said to no one as I rubbed my now sored shoulder.

Then, I saw something shinning on the ground. I picked it up and notice that it was a necklace. (The picture above but its transparent, not green)

"He must have dropped it... Did he steal it?! Then I must quickly give it to the police!"

=Time Skip=

I arrived at the police station only to find around 5 police officers working. I went inside and one of them greeted. He was holding a stack of paper when he was walking by the doorway.

"Nice to meet you, miss. How can I help you?" He said, stopping in his track.

"Ah, yes sir. I would like to know if this necklace was stolen or not." I showed him the necklace and he stare at it.

"Hmm... I'm not sure. Let me have a look. Please wait a moment, miss."

He told me and went to the computer. I followed him until I reached to the counter.

He placed the stack of paper on his desk and start to look anything about the necklace being stolen.

"I'm sorry, miss. But there doesn't seem to have any necklace that was stolen. The one you're holding you're holding right now is probably someone else's who had dropped it." He said to me.

"Oh... Then it's alright sir."

"If you like, you could leave it here until someone comes look for it."

"Okay. Thanks for your help, officer."

When I was about to leave, I had an urge that I should keep the necklace. But it doesn't belong to me, what for should I keep it?

...

*sigh* I'm just gonna take it.

I turned back my heels and walked back to the counter.

"On second thought, officer. I would like to take the necklace back if you don't mind."

"Huh? Oh, sure. Here you go," He gave it to me and I said another 'thanks' and left the station.

I was staring at the necklace as I was leaning against the wall. Then, something surprised me.

The necklace that was supposed to be a transparent crystal suddenly turned into a shade of blue. I stare at it with wide eyes.

Suddenly, I felt drops of water on me. I looked up at the sky and it was already starting to get a darker shade of grey.

I then quickly run back to my house, with the necklace in my grasp.

=Time Skip brought to you by Forgotten Groceries=

I got back to my condo and straight away went to my bed.

*flop*

I stare up at the ceiling, with the of my hands behind my head. Remembering that the necklace glowed into purple, I look at it again.

Purple... I wonder why the necklace kept changing colors... Does each color held different meaning in it...?

I put the necklace down and closed my eyes, enjoying the peaceful surrounding.
