Twenty-One (London)
"Baby number two?" Jada questioned, "boy or girl?" she smiled. "We don't know yet baby girl," Zyale picked her up, "you ready to become a big sister?"
Jada squealed and wrapped her tiny arms around my neck. "Mommy got a baby in her tummy!" She laughed. I don't know what was so funny but I ended up cracking a huge ass grin. "Thanks Doc"
I exited the room, Jada still latched onto my hip. "Sooooo can he have a J like me? Can we name him Jaiden King? I'm Jada and he's Jaiden! That's perfect. So we will really be brother and sister because we have the same name! The same letter, I mean!"
"Yes, if it is a boy. What if it's a girl?" I asked her, buckling her in.
"I don't want it to be a girl." She pouted.
"Ja, that's not nice, baby." I kissed her forehead.
"So? I wanna be the only girl because everyone will have to share the girly love. They won't have to share if it's a boy. Then there's boy love and girl love!" She shrugged. Zyale chuckled in front.
I got in the car and laughed, this girl is too much. "Laylee," I said speaking into the phone while pulling up to McDonald's, "guess what boo!"
"What booboo?" She chortled.
"Baby numba two is cooking!" I spat out.
"YAAAAS!" She screamed.
We spoke some more, dabbling in each topic. Laylee talking about how she met this guy. He seems nice, they upgraded into a house a block away from me and that's where the mansions are located so it must be nice. "Good for you love! But I gotta run, Jada hungry." I waited as we said our goodbyes and love you's.
"So she moved huh?" Zyale said opening the door to our house.
"Yeah, eavesdropper" I stuck my tongue out at him."I gotta go in twenty babe, I'll come back with a surprise though." Zyale set the food down on the counter.
"Oh okay" I mumbled, placing Jada in front the television and putting her kid's meal on the coffee table.
We were fifteen minutes into the movie Jada chose until Zyale's phone started ringing.
"Hello? I'll be there. Okay. Yeah, I know. Arrd, bye." He locked eyes with me until I tore my gaze away, refocusing on the magical castle that 'Elsa' was building.
"I gotta go baby girl but I'll be back," he kissed my collar bone, "love you."
"I love you too baby boy, be safe." I kissed his lips.
"Bye princess" Zyale kissed her cheeks.
"Bye daddy-poo!" She giggled.
I beamed at her behavior. So innocent. So simple.
"I love you Jada" I looked down at her.
"Love you too," she paused looking at my stomach, "and Jaiden." She turned around. I smirked a bit and rolled my eyes.
"Mommy?" she said still looking at the movie, "was I in there?" she referred to my belly.
"Yes you were" I picked her up and placed her on the couch with me, giving her kisses all over her face.
"Nooooo!" Jada pushed my face away, "they are trying to find her!" She glued her eyes back to the television.
A few hours passed and I showered Jada up. She was all over the house running, riding her land rover through the house. We even played hide-n-seek. I couldn't wait for this baby to come because they could do this together, I was exhausted.
I called Zyale's phone, it was only five but I missed him. It rang four times before I overheard shouting, then gunshots, then a loud thud. The line went dead...
