- Hanna's POV:-

The same pair of striking green eyes that I memorized after our kiss, met mine.

It was him.

I swallowed the vomit that had somehow creeped it's way up. I hated the feelings that he gave me. I wanted to run straight into his arms, to have him tell me everything would be okay. That I was going to make it here at Lake Mount.

He seemed to be taken aback, but he quickly recovered. His eyes immediately averted mine and his friends held his attention now, but they were all pointing my way, saying something. Jesse seemed to get angier by the second. His fists started to clench and unclench just as they did when Chase had twisted my arm.

What were they saying about me?

Jonah didn't seem to take any notice of the mini war that was happening infront of us, so he grabbed my arm and pulled me toward the main office.

- Jesse's POV: -

Wow, did Hanson look hot. And dammit if all the guys didn't point her out to me.

"Did you see the new girl? She's sexy as hell!" One of my best friends, Luke, exclaimed. All the guys nodded in agreement.

"The girl over there with Jonah?" I asked.

Mason let out a little moan. "Oh yeah. I wish I could rail the shit out of her," My heart rate sped up and my fists started to clench. "Just look at that body!"

Nobody talks about my girl like that.

No one.

I saw nothing but red. I quickly left the boys and followed Hanson inside to the office.

Her ass did look fantastic in the tight maxi skirt she was wearing, I quickly noted. Her hair was pin straight and it ran nearly to the middle of her back. The pink shirt she wore was knotted so that a little bit of her tanned hips were showing, teasing me. I wanted so badly to run my hands along her soft skin on those perfect hip bones. She was the definition of perfection.

Once I got into the office, she was leaning her elbows on the front desk, schedule in hand. I came up behind her, her ass gently rubbing against me. I hadn't meant to get that close, but I needed her attention. Now.

Hanson jumped in surprise, and I couldn't help but wish for her ass to be there again. She opened her mouth to speak, but shut it as quicly as she'd opened it. Great, she was speechless.

I rolled my eyes. "I need to talk to you."

"No." She said simply as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Damn, was she hot when she was mad. "Hanson, I'm not messing around."

"For the last time, it's Hanna, not Hanson!"

She was trying to distract me - as if her looks and the hypnotic pull she had on me weren't enough. I tried to keep myself from smiling. "Please."

As soon as I said please, her stance loosened and her face softened. She looked over at Jonah, who looked as surprised as she did that I was talking to her. "I'll find my way Jonah, thanks."

If I had a choice of heaven or to listen to her voice for the rest of eternity, I would choose the latter.

- Hanna's POV: -

My heart hadn't been able to beat regularly since Jesse had snuck up behind me. My brain couldn't come up with a situation that could be so important that he had to pull me aside in school to talk to me about. I thought he wasn't going to talk to me ever again.

I guess I was wrong.

He pulled me into an empty classroom, pulling down the blind to cover the window on the door before locking it. This made my palms sweat once again. I bit my lip nervously.

What could he possibly want to talk to me about? Was he going to yell at me? Had I done something wrong? Was he here to apologize? Or was he here just to reinforce the same ground rules that he set the night of our kiss? ... Please, God, don't let him say those words again. I don't think I can take a second heartbreak.

"Can you not do that?" His voice cut through all the thoughts that have been raging in my head.

My gaze snapped to his. "Do what?"

"Bite your lip like that." His hand slid up to the back of his neck, where he rubbed it awkwardly.

"Sorry."

I hate this boy and the mixed signals he gives me.

"Nevermind that," He said, shaking his head and taking a step toward me. "I pulled you in here because you need to watch out."

My eyebrows furrowed. "Watch out for what?" Did people already hate me?

He sighed and ran his long fingers through his beautiful hair. It took everything I had to not do that same. Before I could let my thoughts wander any longer, he had me pushed up against the teacher's desk, his arms on either side of me - trapping me.

Blood rushed to my ears and my pulse skyrocketed. My breathing wasn't even anymore. My knees were wobbling. He smirked, he had me right where he wanted me. He knew what he was doing to me. "Those boys - my friends - they want you. They were telling me how badly they wanted to fuck you. Be clear with your boundaries and let them know where they stand against you. Don't make me ruin my reputation by having to kill them if they touch you."

For a brief second, I mustered up the energy to look him in the eyes and challenge him. "Why does this concern you?" I seethed.

"Because," He growled. "You're mine."

WHAT?
