Ever since I was fifteen

I have been a thief which no one has seen

I stole happiness with greed

I stole love from the hearts that feed

I broke bones that they need

I ripped plants that just hatched from their seed

I lied

I played with emotions like they were a ride

When they find out I ran and hide

I looked innocent on the outside

I wasn’t forgiven

I wasn’t forgotten

I started feeling dark and rotten

So please look and listen

Don’t give me smiles that shouldn’t be given

Give me what I deserve

Punch me right in the nerve

Remind me who I am supposed to serve.

Show the pain and show me sense

I used people’s pain as a fence

To imprison mine

Made myself look like I shine

I have been a hypocrite

I have been illiterate

I knew I was a misfit

Now you should stay away

I got to end because my mood just turned gray

Before I finish there is something to say

Please forgive me if you may.
