Chapter 1

Jazmine

Walking up to the door I tried looking through the peep-hole but sadly it was covered.  

As my heart raced a mile a minute. I asked "who is it?"

And of course no one response.

I waited a few second and swung the door open and who stood before me—was the last person I thought would find me.

"You don't look happy to see me baby." He said walking towards me.

"Travis—— what, how did you even find me?" I asked being afraid of the answer.

"A little thing people call stalking. But I like to call it keeping a close eye on what's mines." He stated with a crooked smile.

Without saying a word I tried closing the door. But I couldn't.

"Travis you aren't suppose to alive,  let alone here!"

Grabbing my neck he choked me squeezing tighter with get word.

"Oh whose going to stop me? My bitch ass baby brother? Haha, last time I check he was back fucking with some broad name Tokeyo and she's pregnant with his baby." He said staring directly in my eyes.

"I don't care about August and you need to go!" I choked out.

"Yeah thats why you ran? Huh? But sorry sweetheart, Im hea to stay. So get used to seeing me." He stated before letting me go and walking off.

My heart was racing as I tired controling my breathing, quickly grabbing my cellphone off the counter I pressed 1 and hit send.

"Come on pick up, pick up, PIIIICK UP!!!" I screamed.

"You have reached, Yung; after the beep—"

Hanging up I called 3 more times.  No answer.  I was so afraid to even leave the house but I knew come tomorrow I'd have to drop the boys off at daycare and go to work.

Shaking the thought, I walked into the kitchen to get the boys food and fix their plates.

August

I was currently on the plane headed to California. San Francisco to be exact.

I didn't know if i wanted to choke the shit outta Jazz or fuck the shit outta her.

One thing I knew for sure was; I was flying out there for my boys.

Word on the street was my brother out on bail and he was looking for Jaz. I knew I needed to get to her before he found out where she was.

I didn't know what the nigga wanted, but what I knew for a fact blood or not. Next time I see the pussy thats his head.

Once I touched down I needed to contacts Kev and give him the run down.

Nigga dont play bout his family. Trav gotta another thing coming for him if he think shot about to be sweet around hea.

12 hours later my plane finally landed and my rental was waiting out front for me.

All black on black challenger.

Tipping the rental guy, I hopped in headed straight for my hotel.

I needed to relax for I start on my hunt for Jaz and my boys.

Once I checked in I took a quick shower and lounge on the bed soon falling asleep.

Being woke by my phone going off like crazy. I stay up reaching for it over on the night stand.

Missed called from Mama Marie

Calling her back, she answered quickly yelling through the phone. I barely understood a word she spoke.

"Ma calm down... stop yelling." I spoke calmly

Calming down she spoke clearly but quickly. "Jazmine just called and she said Travis .... your brother was at her house yesterday. She tried calling you but you didn't answer."

My blood boiled hearing that. "Ma do she know im hea?" I asked sitting up completely.

"No, but I told het I would try getting a hold of you. Please August don't let your brother hurt my baby. I would hate for your mom and I to stop talking because I kilt her son over my blood." She stated honestly.

"Yes ma'am me and you both, but Ima try and go find them now."

Getting up, I through on some sweats and hoodie as I talked to her.

After getting off the phone with mama Marie, I stopped at the gas station.

Grabbing a gatorade and some lays potatoes chips I went up to the register.

"Nigga do it look like a got sum change? Bum ass." I heard a familiar voice say.

"Baby brother..." He stated out before I could fully turn around.
