Kakashi
I was walking down the dirt roads of konoha, my usual routine. Every day I make an effort to walk around the village and visit the old K.I.A. stone, its just what I do and what I've always done. I stopped walking, and looked up at the sky for a moment. It was a beautiful day out, quite warm actually.
"hey Kakashi!" a voice said off to the distance.
I turned around to see no other than my 'eternal rival'; Might Gai.
"yo, Gai" I said and raised a hand.
"Kakashi, my eternal rival! What are you doing on this youthful day of ours!?" Gai said walking next to me, yelling like he always does.
"huh? oh. visiting places" I said.
"really? you seemed like an idiot standing in the middle of the walkway looking at the sky" he retorted.
I shrugged. "I got lost in the path of life I guess" and continued my journey.
"hey! Kakashi!" he yelled and ran next to me. Sometimes I just wish he was a mute, so I don't have to hear his loud voice. Is it wrong to think that? Oh well, I'm thinking it, yup so thinking it.
We continued walking until we got to the K.I.A. stone, payed our respects and walked on. And you know what? The whole trip Gai only talked about 'youth' and how 'youthful' the day is. I mean he's a good friend and all, but he gets annoying. We all have that one friend, right? Yup that's Gai.
"Let us have a youthful challenge, Kakashi!" he said almost to excitedly.
"already? we just had one last week" I said. "and last weeks rivalry, lets just say, it didn't go so well.." I cringed at the memory.

"Kakashi! let us have ourselves a youthful challenge!" Gai said, excitedly.
"alright, we haven't had one in a while" I finished and put away my book. I got ready for our rock-paper-scissors challenge.
"we are not doing that today my friend, we are doing something different!" he said with fire in his eyes.
I sweat-dropped. "then what're we doing?" I asked.
"we, my friend, are going to have a race!" he finished.
"uh okay. Around what and what's the finish line?" I asked.
"around the village, through the Hokage tower, finally through the north training area, and first to make it back in front of Ichiraku's raman shop." he said.
"alright, you're on. If I win you're buying me lunch" I spoke.
"same to you, Kakashi" he finished with a smile. We took our stances, and counted down from 3 and began running. We were neck to neck, but I'm sure I was ahead by a centimeter.
"you're getting slow, Gai" I breathed out.
"ha! I'm just getting started, Kakashi!" he said.
We made our way around the village and headed to the Hokage tower. There was a lot of people inside so it was a narrow path. Gai was following behind me. after that we entered the training grounds. We then entered the dirt roads to Ichiraku's. Gai was taking the lead this time.
"looks like the tables have turned Kakashi!" he shouted.
"not for long!" I shouted back. I sped up my pace and was almost to Ichiraku's. a centimeter away from winning I ran into someone and we toppled over multiple times. when we stopped, I was on top of someone. I opened my eyes to meet a wide eyed light blue orbed girl, my masked lips pressed against hers. Realization hit me, I ran into Aria! I quickly got off of her.
"sorry.. you see I was-" I was cut off by a blow to my cheek.
"you perv!" Aria said. I met the eyes of a mad woman.
"it wasn't my fault! uh-uh Gai! Gai made a challenge, I swear!" I said. at this point I was completely begging for my life, she is a very scary girl. Her punches are almost as hard as Sakura's.
"save it! I don't want to hear it!" she said. she got closer to me.
"spare me.. please.. Gai! I'm going to kill you!!" I yelled.
"oh look at the time, Lee and I are supposed to train.. so uh... bye!" and just like that, Gai fled. Bastard.
I was put in the hospital for a day. and I hate hospitals.
"uh, lets just do our rock-paper-scissors match" I spoke, still terrified of last time.
"you got it" he said, laughing at my memory.
