Werewolves and witches are very valuable and people will do anything to get their hands on them. Their blood is what is really valuable. If lucky, you get taken by a vampire. That way they see you as not only a power source but a blood source as well. But other will kill you and drink all of your blood killing you gaining your powers. But the abilities aren't as strong since they aren't official witches.
All in all it's best to keep your true identity a secret from society. And one other thing. I'm in love with a vampire.
