Energy ball landed on the hot smothering land, where a giant body of a demon served as a home for an old sword maker. Totosai.

Lady Inukimi is what comes out of the energy ball. Looking like...this wasn't her favorite place to be... Yet it was asked of her when her son was young...many, many years ago.

" Mi'lady are you sure this is what your late husband wanted done?" Totosai asked as he held the Meido-seki, one of his greatest works.

"You old fool, are you questioning me?" Inukimi asked giving the old one a fright.

Totosai scratched his almost bald head as he eyed his late master's mate. She seemed nervous about something as she searched the area with only her eyes.

"Your spolt child doesn't show himself here often." Totosai said as he put the necklace Meido-seki in the molting steel.

Inukimi placed her hand over her heart as if she felt it breaking.

"I wasn't questioning you, more like wondering if you knew for sure that this is what your Lord wished before his death." Totosai said as he watched the last of the necklace go under.

"A sword, a gift for a daughter-in-law." Yes I know." Inukimi said.

"What was I doing again?" Totosai asked as he glanced at his Lady.

"You senile ole devil...why not come out and say it, I know you are dying to do so." Inukimi said as she brushed off a large rock to sit on.

"Your mate did his job well...he truly wanted his eldest son with a human." For what I am going to forge can only be used by a human only." Totosai said as a matter of fact.

"Doing his job from beyond his grave." Inukimi went to say.

"Has the young pup found his human yet?" Totosai asked as he searched for the perfect size of sword mold...not too big for a human to wield and not too small that it doesn't have any effect.

"No my son has not found his mate yet..." I..am, uh still raising her." Inukimi said as the old man stopped what he was doing to look at the ice demon.

"You, the one who detests all manners of the human race...is raising a human female to marry your only son...Sesshomaru." Has hell froze over already?" He asked laughing as he looked at Inukimi.

"Well all but raised." All that is left is to bring her out of hiding." Inukimi said getting up from where she sat.

"Now hurry with the sword." Inukimi ordered as she left the cave.

"I wish to see this poor fool...you will be sending to an early grave if your son figures out your plans." Totosai said.

"Whatever you wish.Inukimi said without looking back.
