-A few weeks later-
After I got up,and took a shower,I saw that Justin wanted to FaceTime me.
Justin- Hey,how are you doing?
Anna- Hey,and I'm ok. What about you?
Justin- I'm good. And you know you can tell me anything,right?
Anna- Yes, Justin I know. Why are you asking?
Justin- Because,you don't sound ok.
Anna- *sighs* You're right Justin.I'm not okay. I miss James. (my brother) He was the only family I had,and I did my best to take care of him.
Justin- Don't cry,I bet that he's looking down at you,and thinking about all the wonderful times y'all had, together.
Anna-*smiles* you're probaly right Justin.
Justin- *smiles* I would love to talk longer Anna,nut I gotta go.Scooter needs me in the studio.
Anna-Alright,I'll talk to you later then. Bye Justin
Justin- Bye Anna
After my conversation with Justin Mrs.Marce came in my room, to tell me that lunch was ready. I hadn't realized that we talked for that long. When I went down stairs,I heard Mrs.Marce,and her husband talking. I heard my name,and wondered what they were talking about. That's when I heard a knock on the door. As I was getting my food,I heard Justins voice. It was probaly the radio,though. I sat down with some of the kids there,when Mrs.Marce and some man walked in. I didn't notice who it was,cause I was talking to a girl about two years younger than me. We were talking about music when I heard someone clear their throat. I looked up and saw it was Justin. I ran up to him,and hugged him. What are you doing here,Justin? I'm here to adopte you. You're what? I'm going to adopte you Anna. Really ? Yes,really.
I ran up to my room, to go pack my stuff,while Justin signed the papers. I couldnt believe this was happening. I finished packing,and went down stairs, where Justin was waiting for me. A few minutes later, we got in the car and drove to Justins house,well our house. When we arrived,I was in shock after everything that has happened these past weeks. Justin led me up stairs to my new room. I unpacked everything.
*a few hours later*
Hey Anna,suppers ready. Justin yells,from the kitchen. We were having spaghetti. As we sat down, at the dinner table, We heard the doorbell ring. Justin went to answer it,and came back with a women around the age of 31. I realized it was his mom,Pattie Mallette. When her book "Nowhere But Up" came out I had read it ,atleast 12 times. I stood there like a statue,until Justin threw a wadded up napkin at me. Anna, this is my mom Pattie... Mallette ,I interrupted him. Hi,it's nice to meet you Anna.Justin has told me alot about you, Pattie said. Its nice to meet you too,I said back. As we finished supper, Pattie had to leave,so I went up to my room. A few minutes later,Justin came in ,and sat on my bed.
Justin - why were you so quit during supper ,Anna?
Anna - well,it's just that,when your moms book came out, I couldn't stop reading it. I probaly read it about 12 times. It has helped me so much. Tbh Justin,when I was younger,and my parents were here. My dad was always drinking. He would always come home,and hit my mom,and I. He even r-ra... But befor I could finish Justin Interupted me. Do you wanna talk about this another time Anna,he said. I slowly nodded my head. He hugged me,and went to his room. I fell asleep a few minutes later.
