**Raven**

I closed Maymay's door to her home and leaned back against it as if I were strong enough to keep out what I was afraid of.

"Child, you are scared too death." Come and sit and I will fix you some tea." Maymay said as she lead me to her table.

"I am fine. really." I'm sorry but I can't stay today." I have to get home." I said holding my hand to my heart that raced as if to race out of my chest.

"Maymay, I need to trade cloaks with you." I said taking mine off and prayed that it changed my looks.

"Raven, is someone after you?" Maymay asked as she peered out her window and seeing no one that shouldn't be there. Then she got out her worn out cloak to trade for my black fur cloak.

"Please, I'll be fine." Thank you, but I must go." I said as I put on her cloak.

I must be more careful next time I come to the village. I thought as I snuck out the back door.

**In the shadows**

She changed her cloak, but it is still her. He thought as he watched the scared little rabbit change from her wolves clothing.

"Mother what are you up to? Sesshomaru asked in a whisper as he watched the girl go off believing she got away.

This time he would let her believe she had.

Sesshomaru ran his fingers through his hair as he watched the girl sneak a peek around to see if she were being followed...Seeming safe so she ran toward the palace.
