" since no one will celebrate my birthday with me , I will celebrate it myself " Emma says as she takes out a cupcake from its packaging . * blows out candle * " I wish for a family " she says a loud . While she is going to the fridge , she hears the door bell .

"I'm coming !" Emma says , and opens the door. " can I help you ? " she says to a little boy standing on her door step . " Hi , I'm Henry . Are you Emma Swan ? " " Yes " Emma says . " Well , I'm your son " Henry tells Emma . " Um, you must be at the wrong house , I have no son " Emma says as Henry walks into her apartment.

" Ten years ago , did you give up your son for adoption " Henry says . " How would you know that " Emma says , stuttering . " I'm that kid that you gave up for adoption , and I need your help " " Kid , you might be my son and all , but I can't help you " " I need you to take me to story Brooke. And you need to break the curse ! " Henry says . " Kid , you must be dreaming . There is no such thing as curses. " " Take me to story Brooke , and I will explain to you everything on the way "

Emma thinks about it for a second , but ends up saying yes . " Get in the car " . " So , the curse is that my foster mom , the evil queen , has put everyone in an evil curse that traps everyone here, in Maine, as normal people . None of the fairy tale characters remember that they are fairy tale characters, and you are the only one that can break the curse ! " Henry says . " Look Henry , I think you have this all wrong . Their is no such thing as a curse , and no such thing as fairy tale characters . This is reality sweet heart "

*arrives at story Brooke * " alright kid where do you live . " " well , my mom , the evil queen , is the mayor of the town. " " alright just take me to your moms house . " Emma says .

" Oh my god Henry where have you been ! " Regina says as she hugs Henry and walks him inside . " Hi , I'm Emma , Henry's birth mom . I'm so sorry about all of this , he just appeared at my door step and told me about a silly curse or something like that. You must be Henry's foster mom . " Emma says . " Yes I'm Regina , the mayor of the town. He's been really caught up in this fairy tale book his teacher gave him and it has him imagining lots of things ." Regina says . "Why don't you come in ? I can make you some coffee" " oh ok that sounds super sweet , but I think I'm just going to rent a hotel room and stay for the night . "

" Oh ok , that's fine . But Emma I have to tell you something . I don't want you getting close to Henry . When I adopted him I didn't want anything to do with the real parents, and you are not allowed to just suddenly walk into his life. Is that clear ?" Regina says . "Oh I'm so sorry about that. I will stay away from Henry and tomorrow in the morning before you know it I will be gone " " Have a good night Ms. Swan" Regina says as she slams the door behind her .
