I went upstairs to see the apartment. It screamed Alyssa. When you walked in, it was a kitchen. There were the essentials, a black stove with a rail above it with silver pots hanging in the center, to it's left in the corner was a double door fridge which was dark silver, and to the right of the stove was a silver dishwasher, and then to the right of that was counter top, crowded with appliances like a red toaster, small silver blender, and a standing mixer. In the middle of the kitchen was a island, which was black with a marble top that matched the counter top. There were five red stools and a bowl of fruit in the center.
Then there is a living room, which had the basic white walls with one chalkboard one. There was a smaller table in the corner with an eraser and array of chalk. Written on the wall was a to do list. There was a black sofa in the center of the room and behind the couch was a table with two pillows and a few throw blankets, all black. She had a glass coffee table in front of the couch that had a silver vase with roses in it, beside it there was a silver frame that had a picture of Alyssa, Pops, Mom, Scott, and another woman. They were all younger, Scott was around ten and Alyssa was probably sixteen or so. There was an flat screen TV on the wall that the couch faced, and it was sleek and black.
Down the hall there was three doors. Alyssa said I could explore and her and Scott would be right up. So I did. I walked to the first door and it was the bathroom. It was small and had white walls. There was a bath tub with silver legs and was stood up off the ground. There was a sleek shower head that was silver. There was a toilet with red mats in front of it that matched the one in front of the bath. There was a sink with marble countertops and a mirror. It was small and sweet.
I looked in the next room and it was obviously Alyssa's. She had white walls, but one was a mirror. It reflected her huge bed that looked like a hotel, with big, fluffy white comforter. She had a black shag blanket on the end of the bed. There was another table that was a little smaller than the bed. It held an extra white pillow and two red throw pillows. Behind the mirror was a closet, so when you slid the mirror over you saw a clean array of clothes, mostly black. She had dresser drawers, which were white. Mounted above it was a TV. It was much smaller than the one in the living room, but still pretty big. She had a desk in the corner farthest away with a laptop on top. She had a filing cabinet beside it with another vase of red roses on top. Also on the desk was a few books, a large cup of pens, and another picture of Alyssa and a boy. They were kissing.
I went into the room beside it, the last one. There was nothing. The walls were white. There was one that was a window. Outside you saw the shore . It was stunning to watch the waves crash against a few big rocks and the sand. The water reminded me of Scott. At first, just his eyes. The more I looked though, I also saw that it was hopeful, like him. It was shimmering, like him. It was calm, yet crashing at the same time, like him. It was lovable, like him.--------------------------
