Delusional Disorder is a where the sufferer has false beliefs based on reality. Symptoms are erotomania, believing that you're in a relationship with another resonance, typically a very famous or well-known figure, grandiose delusions where you believe you have special abilities or you are somebody that is well-known, or has special ties with them, being jealous of your romantic partner cheating, persecutory delusions, and somatic delusions of having a physical illness. Diagnosing this is as simple because it is rare and the victims tend to conceal their thoughts because they believe that someone is out for them, also doctor have to take in consideration is it caused by other major disorders such as schizophrenia, any type of mood disorder, dementia, or Alzheimer's. Doctors may have to run diagnostic tests such as an EEG, MRI, and/or CT scan to if the person has it.
