She's like a ghost.

First sign of winter...snow had began to fall.

It has been a few days since I had been back to the village. Shanglee had packed me a basket food to take to Maymay.

**Maymay**

Maymay had just sat down to a hot cup of tea to warm up her old bones after cutting wood. Picked up the cup for her to blow when she noticed him standing there. His frame filled the doorway. He never made a sound as he entered her home.

Maymay took a sip of tea before speaking. The whole time, she felt his inhuman eyes on her.

"Lord Sesshomaru I presume." Maymay said as she pushed back from the table and stood & bowed.

"Sit old woman..."The girl, who might she be?" Sesshomaru asked as he watched the old woman sit and pick up her cup of tea.

"Girl?" You might need to give me an idea of what girl you are asking about." Maymay had an idea herself, but she wanted to hear him say it.

Sesshomaru's eyes slants, he had no time to play guessing games.

"You know who I speak of." The one that visits you." He went on saying.

Maymay eyed the tall one, noticed he wasn't at all human, quite handsome. If he wasn't blinking his eyes or not speaking..she would have thought him to be a statue.

"You are asking of the child..Raven WhiteEagle." Could it be that you are the one that scared that child half too death the other day?" Maymay asked as he snickered. He too remembered the day she spoke of.

Child..not far from being a child, but the girl was beyond that time. Sesshomaru thought as he slightly walked around the small home as the old woman's eyes bore through him.

"Where does she live?" He asked knowing the answer to that question, he just wanted to know if the old woman would tell him what he wanted to know.

"Why...the girl has done nothing wrong, she would never harm or do any harm." Maymay said as she could read this man before her, he had no ill for Raven.

"Woman don't push it." I am the one asking the questions." Sesshomaru said.

" I don't know where she lives." All I know is that she isn't from this country." Raven is like a ghost, she comes & goes leaving no trace...almost like you." Maymay said as she watched the arrogant Lord start to leave.

Sesshomaru believed the woman.

"Please...tell me what has she done?" Maymay asked worried.

"She has done nothing." Stop worrying. He said with his back to her before he left.

**Raven**

I took a trail I didn't know all too well. Snow was piling up. I never saw the root that snagged my boot causing me to fall flat on my face and dropping every thing I carried.

I watched an egg roll to a stop. it stopped at the tip of pointed black boots.

"Damn it." I said as I knew who's boots those were. I buried my face in the snow and wished him away.

"Such language for a little girl." His voice taunted me as I felt a hand help me up off the ground.

I brushed myself off. Snow had gotten into my upper kimono.

"Lord Sesshomaru." I said using the back of my hand to wipe the snow off my face.

"Are you sneaking again girl?" Sesshomaru asked as he used his long fingernail to brush a stray wet hair out of my face.

"Excuse me..but I don't sneak." I was using a short cut." I said as I went along picking up the eggs, bread and dried meats.

"You do know you are trespassing, could land you in prison or worse...death." Sesshomaru said as he tried to get me to admit to something.

"I know..." I just don't bother anything." Now if I may leave, I do have a place to be." I said in hopes that one of his followers would call out to him.

"If you know, then you know who's land you are on." He said taunting me even more.

"Yes I know who's land I am on." Now please let me leave." I said getting upset with all of his foolishness.

"Such a hurry, could it be you are seeing a male friend?" Sesshomaru asked as he walked around me as to read my body language.

"You mi'lord are rude." And you ask such foolish questions that are none of your business." Besides my mother would kill me if I were meeting a male friend as you so rudely call it." I said getting a ruder response to my answer.

Forcefully in lighting speed, I was pinned with my back against a tree. My heart beating hard as his hand gripped tight around my neck.

"Foolish questions you say." Mother...let's give her a reason to believe you are seeing a male friend." One you can't hide by changing your clothing." Sesshomaru said growling as he leaned into my face with his own, stalling as if to be trying to change his own mind from doing what he was about to do. But his eyes fell to my lips. Something other than his mind won out the battle he fought inside himself.

Kissed me, fast as if it were a test. And one he failed at. For he came back for more and even a more powerful kiss than the last one. At least he eased his grip around my throat.

The tight grip I had on the food basket was let loose and I let it fall back to the ground. I was not understanding this type of contact he was having with me.

As the kiss deepened and became more heated, I began to enjoy it even more.

Oh God I was enjoying it too much. I thought as I squirmed out of the kiss and now fully embarrassed.

"Go...before we give your mother something to really kill you over." I don't believe your mother would want you to be deflowered by a demon." Sesshomaru said as he was enjoying the look on the girl's face.

Never mind the food. I had to get away, anywhere as not to lead Lord Sesshomaru to mother's...our mother.
