I fluttered my eyes open, but quickly shit them because of the brightness of the sun blinding me. I recovered to the brightness and rubbed my eyes.
I turned on my phone. While waiting for it to turn on, I brushed my hair and fixed myself up. I changed into basketball shorts and a white shirt that had "can you not" written on it in black print. My phone beeped, more than 8 times, saying that I had received a message.
"Damn why do I have so many messages?" I said to myself, walking over to my bed to get my phone.
To: Summer
From: Steven <3
"Summer. I didn't mean it I swear! I was just mad."
"Please forgive me."
"Summer."
"Summer pleeeaaaase."
"Bae."
"Forgive me, please I beg of you."
"Summer. If you don't answer I am walking over to your house and sit on you."
"Fine! I'm on my way there."
"Nevermind. I got caught. Just please forgive me!"
I looked at the time I had received the messages: 12:47 am. I sighed and tossed my phone on my messy bed. I went to the kitchen for food. I poured a bowl of cereal and milk. I got a soon and ate it on the way to my room. I sat down and turned on the tv with the remote that was lying next to me.
"Lets see, hmm... aha!" I pressed select and South Park popped up in my tv screen.
Right when it ended, my phone was ringing. Without looking at the caller ID, I answered the call.
"Hello?" I said.
"Finally you answer!"
"What." I said harshly. I really didn't want to deal with him today."
"Please forgive me. I didn't mean it. I would never say that to you."
"Obviously you did."
He sighed frustratedly and said, "Let me make it up to you."
I stayed quiet for a few seconds. "Okay. What is it?"
"Let me take you out. Like to a movie or something."
"So like a date?"
"No. Well, unless you want it to be." he said flirtatiously.
I laughed at his stupidness. "Oh shut up."
"I'll pick you up at 6:30?"
"Yeah. I um, gotta go now. Bye." I hung up and set my phone next to me.
Once I finished my cereal, I put the bowl in the sink and went to my parents room, but to fun nobody in there.
"That's weird." I went in my room and dialed my mom and dads number but neither of them answered. I sighed and watched tv for the next 3 hours.

After 3 hours of being my lazy self, I took a 20 minute shower. For my date, I wore the same shirt I put on today and a dark wash jean jacket over it. I also wore black leggings and black Dr. Martens. I curled the ends off my hair and put on a neff black beanie. After double checking myself, I put on my fake nerd glasses and applied a little but of lip gloss and mascara.
I put my phone, wallet, perfume and earphones in my little purse. Before leaving the house I wrote a letter to both my parents:
Mom and Dad,
I went out with my friend to see a movie. I tried calling but neither of you answered. I hope you don't mind. i'll be back around 8:00 pm. Love you.

I set it on the counter in the kitchen and waited for Steven to come. As if on cue, he knocked on the door. I opened the door. He was wearing a shirt from Zumiez and black pants. He had a bit of cologne which smelled amazing.
"Ready to go?" I nodded and closed the door. We walked in silence for a few minutes. I wasn't an awkward one though. "You look very nice." he spoke up. "Thanks, so do you." I blushed.
"Look, I know I've said it millions of times already but I'm really sorry. Will you ever forgive me?"
I was undecidable of wether or not I should, I gave in. "Yes."
"Yay!" he shouted. He hugged me tightly and picked me up and spun me around. I laughed as he did that. "Oh gosh, now everybody is staring at us."
"That's alright." he chuckled. We were about 7 minutes away from the movie theater. He slipped his hand into mine and held it tightly, but not too tight. I smiled and held his back. It felt right, as if it were meant to be.
