The beach

When the elevator door opened I saw the boys were in the lobby. The boys I saw were Tay, Cam, Matt, and Nash. I was the only girl.

"Awe look who Hayes brought with him," Cam teased Nash elbowed him,"what?" Cam looked at Nash and Nash shook his head almost seeming like he was saying stop.

We walked out the doors and got in the car. we parked at the board walk and started to walk. Nash came up beside me and we were ahead of the group.

"Hey," Nash said still looking forward with his big blue eyes.

"Hey," I reply.

"So can I tell you something?"

"Yeah of course!"

"Okay well ummm."

"Just spit it out!" I laughed.

"Okay Hayes likes you."

I instantly stopped laughing,"W-what."

"Yeah he has never fell for a girl this fast before."

"But I can't date him or anything."

"Why?" Nash gave me a confused look.

"I told Jack G that if I came I wouldn't fall in love with any of the boys."

"I'll talk to him just do what you want he can't control you."

"Thank you Nash!" I Gave him a hug and stood there waiting for everyone.

I walked next to Hayes,"hey."

"Hey," he looked over at me and smiled,"Can we sit down and talk for a sec?"

"Yeah sure," I shrugged my shoulders.

"K imma go tell Nash hold on," he ran ahead to where Nash was an told him he ran back. I sat down on the bench that was pressed against the guard rail. He sat down next to me.

"So what do you wanna talk about?"

"Okay Maddy don't hate me for saying this or anything, but Maddy I really like you. Yes I know I haven't known you for very long but it feels as if I've known you forever."

"Hayes I like you too," he looked at me and smiled I smiled back. I got up and he got up I gave him a little kiss on the cheek and we started walking.

"Do you wanna go swimming now?!" Hayes yelled.

"Yes!" We ran onto the sand saw the guys ran over to then put our stuff down and took off towards the water. I hit it an it was a bit cold I stopped. I saw Hayes had jumped in.

"Maddy are you gonna get in?!" he said pushing his way through the water walking toward me.

"Yeah I will its just kinda cold," he got closer

"So you're saying I'm gonna have to make you get in?" he smirked at me.

"Hayes you better not do that I'm not in charge of your injuries!"

"Haha you won't hurt me would you?" he grabbed me by the waist and put me over his shoulder. I look and see all the boys pointing and laughing.

"Hayes put me down!" I hit his back not hard though.

"Well if you say so!" Hayes threw me into the water.

I surfaced and tackled Hayes.

"Hahaha man you really hurt me!" Hayes said sarcastically.

"Shut up," I gently pushed him. Pretty soon the boys came down.

Taylor came over to me," So you and Hayes huh," he nudged me with with his elbow.

"I don't know maybe," I nudged him back.

"Well he really likes you and it looks like you do to," he smirked.

"Yeah I mean I kinda like him but I've only known him in person for 2 days now," I shrugged my shoulders.

"You guys would be cute I ship it Mayes!"

"Awe your so sweet!"

"I know haha," Tay was really hot but wayy to old for me aha. anyways he's like a bro to me. Almost all of the boys are except for Hayes because I have a chance with Hayes.

"Well I'm gonna go back to shore now."

"Okay," he smirked because he looked over at Hayes who was just staring at me. Hayes saw me looking at him and tried playing it cool me and Tay both laugh.

I go and sit on the sand. The sun was starting to go down and it lit the sky up with an orange color. It was so pretty looking at it shine on the water.

Soon another person sat next to me I look over and it's Hayes. Of course.

"Hayes listen," I break the silence.

"What?"

"Okay so I think I like you. I mean I said I did like you but I don't really know you. I mean I don't really know know you if you get what I'm saying?" it was quite for a minute.

"Yes I do understand what your saying. I mean we've only known each other for a couple days."

"Hayes thank you so much for understanding," I didn't have many "true " friends. Most girls liked me for my brother and what I am an not who I am. I really struggled with that. Tbh I don't really like my self because I can't really have many friends and I get too attached.

"Maddy you can tell me anything I will

Understand."

It was dark and we started going back to the hotel.
