     'Not again," Brian thought.

Brian looked at his phone with fear in his eyes, trying to keep a calm composure in front of Brock. He couldn't find out right now. He opened his phone, not too quick, and scanned the text again.

'I told you to stay away from him. Not following my advice, huh? Maybe it's time you learn a lesson, fuckboy.'

Brian's hands starting to shake a tiny amount, not enough to make it too noticeable. He stared at the message, not knowing what to do or say. He didn't want it to happen again, like the first time. He thought it was a prank, though it gave him bad vibes.

The first message had been just about a week beforehand. In nice terms, it said for Brian to "stay the fuck away from Brock," and that one of them would be tasting the dust. As he thought about it now, Brian hoped to god that it wasn't Brock. Brian would give up his own life for the innocent angel that he fell in love with. Brock's laugh alone made Brian smile unconsciously(making him mad in video games also worked the trick). The loving duckling was Brian's oxygen, and he couldn't live without him. The sweet, punmaking, little-

"What's wrong?" Brock's voice snapped him back to reality.

"Huh?" His brain had taken a little bit to grasp the situation.

"What's up, Brian? You were a bit dozed off there." He chuckled. Oh, that sweet laugh of his. "Was it on your phone? Let me guess, someone's calling you a bitch in Mini's comment section?" Brock tried to look at Brian's phone.

Brian quickly shut his phone off before he had a chance to catch a glimpse. "Okay Brock, listen. I love you very much, okay?" His heartbeat increased.

    "I love you too, but-"

"Brock," Brian cut him off with a firm but shaky voice. "You need to get out of this house. Delete my number. Wipe out any trace you have of me." His Irish accent had shown through with his panic.

Brock shook his head in confusion. "I don't understand. What's going on, Brian? You're making me a little scared."

"Listen, Brock, I'll explain when I can. But not now, definitely not now." He tried to guide Brock to the door but he stood his ground.

"I'm not going anywhere until you explain to me what is happening. Come on, Brian, let me help you with this. Can I at least try?" He pleaded, hoping he could know what made Brian so frightened and on edge.

"Listen to me, Brock." Brian sighed and held Brock's shoulders. "Go find somewhere to stay for a while." Out of his wallet, he grabbed one hundred dollars in tens and handed it to Brock. "Stay at a hotel or something. Please. I'm doing this to keep you safe."

      "But Bria-"

"Brock, please. I don't know how long it will take until it's actually safe t be around me but please just trust me. I don't understand very well myself, but I need you to find somewhere to stay, okay? You staying with me would only mean harm and most likely losing eachother. Like I said, I'll contact you and tell you when it's safe. Okay?"

Brock sighed in defeat. He didn't know what was happening or what Brian really meant by this, but he understood that Brian wouldn't stop pleading until he left, so he gave in. "...okay."  He nodded unconfidently.

Brian sighed and hugged him. "It'll be okay once I get this all sorted out. I won't let anything happen to you. I know you don't understand anything and I'm really sorry. Please just be safe. I won't be able to live with myself if something happened to you." These words worked their way to actually make Brock smile a little.
