Normally there were not so many strange feelings in the alleys that I walked normally, it just felt so different. There was a burning sensation in my back and it hurt like crazy. I stopped as soon as I noticed something move from one of the abandoned building's windows. I watched the figure closely and took a small step towards the window.
"Don't move, girl." A voice sneered from Behind me I took a deep breath and listened to his orders.
"So you actually like to listen, huh." Another voice said from the right of me. The burning sensation had stopped, thankfully.
"Turn around slowly, girl." The first voice said. I slowly turned around hands in the air.
"Who are you?" I asked my voice shaky as I looked the guy up and down, he was a tall dirty blonde with what seemed like dark hazel eyes.
"That's none of your business, Missy. Who, are you?" He said, It took me a second to realize something I didn't before, a gun. He had a Gun!
"Casey, Casey Andrews." I stuttered, backing up slightly, into a body.
"Well Casey, You are mine now." He growled, "You've passed through My Alley, no one leaves Alive, unless they're mine."
"No, no you can't do this." I muttered as the person behind me grabbed my shoulders. I struggled against him. The first guy placed a hand under my chin.
"You shouldn't struggle so much, Casey. It won't help." He said taking his knife out, "You, Asher. Grab her hand and pull her sleeve down." The dude called Asher grabbed my hand holding it still, in a tight grip. The first guy, whom I didn't know the name of yet, took his knife and carved a couple of initials, it hurt and started to bleed right away. He stuck something small in my wrist before wrapping my wrist.
"What was that?" I asked as I pulled my hand back as the guy let me go. I collapsed on the ground holding my arm. "What was that!?" I asked looking up, his eyes were dull, and showed very little to no emotion.
"A Tracker, you try to leave and you will be tracked and brought back. It can also shock you, if necessary." He said softly as he Snapped his fingers. One of his men pinched the back of my neck. This caused me to black out almost instantaneously.
When I woke up I was in a dark grey concrete room, chains around my wrist. I Tried to pull on them but nothing happened. I heard footsteps, which made the hairs on the back of my neck to raise up. It had dawned on me that light was breaking through the small window that was at the top, it was very clear that it was Sunrise.
"You're up sleepy head." A voice roughly said as the door opened. It was a shorter, and not so scarred guy than the people from last night.
"Yeah, SO? Just let me go!" I Growled pulling on the chains. The dude closed the door behind him and threw a knife to the other side of the room. He grabbed a key and took off the chains before pulling out his own.
"You have to fight me, to get out." He said as I stood up, he pushed me back down and I kicked his leg causing him to fall back. I Grabbed my knife and stood over him. He got me onto the ground but I Tossed and turned until I got his knife in my hand. He was panting and looking up at me. I Took my knife and cut his arm before opening the door and locking him in. The house seemed huge.
I tried to open the door slowly but I set off the alarm. I bolted as the guys who had been talking outside the door yelled at me. I heard them draw their guns but I turned the corner as they shot towards me. I made it out the back door and I jumped the fence. I felt my wrist tingle so I took one of the knives and took out the device. I ran across the fields that were behind the house, my heart pounded as I did so. I felt my foot sink before I noticed that I was falling. My eyes flashed around.to the dimmly lit area. I seemed to have fallen into a cave system. I heard them halt above the hole, so I acted dead. It fooled them, thank god. I waited for them to leave, before looking around there was a tunnel that had more light at it so I pulled myself up and carefully walked towards it. I made sure not to hurt myself as I continued walking, I reached the end. It was a perfectly climbable wall. I started carefully heading up. I peaked my head over the top of the hole. They were almost to the house again. I waited a minute before pulling myself up and running towards the city that I could see now from the hill. I heard gunshots behind me, meaning they saw me. I bolted down the hill, reaching a fence. There was no way I could climb it. I turned to see the men on the top of the hill.
"Get on your knees girl." Asher growled, the dude from the alley was with him along with some other guys. I Looked them over and carefully backed up into the fence. "I said, Get on your knees!" I looked up towards the guys at the top as I got on my knees. "Good slave" He said looking at the guy I had beat. "Axel, you need to learn how to handle girls like her"
"I will Asher." Axel said as he grabbed the cuffs from his pocket as he slid down the hill. He took the cuffs and put them on my wrist. He pulled me up with a harsh arm.
"Don't be so gentle with her." Asher growled as he grabbed my arm once I had reached the top. He threw me onto the ground. "She won't last long with a personality like hers."
"What do you mean she won't?" A different guy said looking at Asher, his eyes confused.
"A girl, who can't listen or act right, gets punished normally. But because you guys seemed to have so much interest in her, you will help her with getting used to being a slave, Zach you'll be in charge." Asher growled kicking my side before taking his foot off of me. He looked at a guy who looked like he belonged in the army. "Ok, Zach? You're the oldest of the recruits, you should learn how to be tough and rough, at the same time." He said handing him the handcuffs key before Asher headed to the house.
"Get up you piece of scrap." Zach growled, as he stepped over to me. I kicked his legs causing him to have to jump back. He grabbed my arm and pinned me to the ground. "Don't you DARE act up around me Missy." I whimpered as he pulled me back up before glaring at the other two. He pulled me along as they headed silently to the house.
"Zach, what are we doing for Lunch?" Axel asked his voice rough unlike how it was earlier.
"We will have Casey cook for us. You will do so won't you girly?" Zach asked as we reached the house. I nodded before he threw me to the ground. He put his foot on me before straddling me. He patted my sides down making sure I didn't have any weapons. I Tried to get away from him, I didn't like how he was holding me, nor how heavy he was. "Stop it girl!" He growled as he took his knife out. I whimpered and held still. "Thought so." He said as he got up and opened the door. He yanked me up and pushed me towards the kitchen. He locked the kitchen door behind him and unlocked my handcuffs. I grabbed some ravioli from the freezer and started cooking it up.
I quietly started reciting a letter my mom wrote me when she had died. It was a goodbye letter, with mentions of different things. She had died in a situation like this. I sighed before continuing on. My eyes slightly started watering so I wiped my eyes quickly.
"Why are you crying?" Zach asked his voice brutal to even hear.
"I'm not crying!" I muttered as I plated the ravioli. "Your food is ready." I said softly washing my hands.
"Yes, you are girly. Explain now, or forever hold your peace."
"You can't hold peace"
"Answer me!" He snapped.
"I'm Not crying!" I yelled as he pinned me against the wall. His eyes were gentler than his actions and words.I followed him with the other plate his as he exited. I laid it on the table before Zach turned back to me. "Lets go to your room."
"O..ok" I stuttered as he took my hand in his. He pulled me to a nicely decorated room, with a small window, and a dresser.
"You don't leave this room unless you are summoned." Zach barked as he closed the door locking me in. I looked around before sitting down on my bed, I started to break out in tears. It wasn't stoppable, I could have stopped my mom from dying, I could have stopped this fiasco. It was about an hour later when I had decided to take a nap and had closed my eyes. I heard the door open and close as well. I didn't budge even when I felt someone sit on the other side of the bed.
"Wha?" I muttered sleepily. I felt the guy pull himself fully into my bed.
"You're fine, Casey Masey." A voice I quite recognized but couldn't quite pin to a name.
"Get out of my bed...zach." I muttered pushing him away with my foot. He pulled me closer to him, his breathing slow and soft, his skin soft as it brushed against mine.
"You know we both wouldn't want that." He whispered in my ear kissing my neck. His warm breath stayed on my neck, I guess it was a way to show dominance. I whimpered and pulled away from him.
"What are you doing? I wanna sleep." I mumbled yawning as I pulled the covers over my body and leaned into the pillow. I closed my eyes once more and let my breathing slow.
"Then I'll sleep in here with you Casey." He said slipping his shirt off, he then proceeded to slip mine off for me, which I mumbled at him for it but it didn't exactly stop him. I felt him press up against me, pulling me into a cup like position. I didn't like this position so I flipped to where I was facing him. I laid my head near his chest.
"Goodnight Z" I mumbled
"Night Casey." He said in response as I fell asleep.
When I woke up, Zach had fallen asleep as well, with his hand around me. I closed my eyes and breathed in the fresh air.
"Morning sleepy." Zach said as he opened his eyes. He rubbed my cheek softly with his hand. "Are you ok? You were mumbling stuff in your sleep and you had almost kicked me multiple times."
"I...I'm Sorry." I said softly embarrassed. "I Had a nightmare again."
"Again? What is it about?"
"It's just a replay of when my mom died." I said softly pressing into him. My eyes started to water again but I quietly wiped my eyes. I felt him sit up and sit me on his lap. His eyes were soft and gentle as he wiped my tears for me.
"You're ok, you're safe here with me ok?" Zach said softly his eyes meeting mine as he pulled me closer and kissed me. I kissed him back, my eyes soft.
"Um, Zach-- OH God!" Asher yelled as he closed the door after opening it.
"I'll be right back, go get dressed ok?" Zach said his voice back to it's rough and tough sound. I nodded and went to get dressed, I found a flannel and some Jeans.
"What do you need Asher?" Zach said opening the door. He was slipping a shirt from the other dresser.
"Marc needs to speak to you."
"Shit." He said as he jogged down the hall. I decided to quickly follow him. He stepped inside of a fancy office, so I stayed outside to listen to him
"I have decided on your question. Yes she can be yours, BUT She still has to fulfil her duties." He barked. Duties? What duties? Why was I Zach's? I'm human not an object. I walked slowly to the door and walked out. I took a walk in the empty field my eyes soft as I did so, I heard footsteps but I didn't turn to face them. Instead I kept walking. I felt a hand on my shoulder but I shook it off.
"Casey!" Zach said turning me around. "Why weren't you in your room?" He growled.
"Maybe because I don't want to be 'owned'" I muttered turning back around. I went back to walking.
"Maybe it was the only way to keep you safe!" He growled before grabbing my arm. "I wouldn't have done it if I felt you would be safe."
"Why should I believe that?" I asked looking him in the eye.
"Because." He said as he quickly kissed me. "You wouldn't be loved if anyone else were to 'own' you."
"So?" I growled. "Why would it matter?"
"Because girls have certain roles in this gang like society. Who ever owns you gets to have children with you, can tell you what to do, and punish you. I didn't want that to end up being Marc, he can get pretty mean and pretty rough." He said rubbing my cheek softly looking me in the eyes. I pulled away from him. His eyes changed from gentle to a rough and mean look. He pushed me to the ground and pinned me there. He straddled my hip area.
"Get off Z!" I whimpered. I tried to push him off of me but he kept on.
"Just be a good girl, Casey." He said softly as he got up and pulled me up. "You won't regret being a good girl." He took my arm and started walking back to the house. A group of guys were now in the living room, most were eating breakfast and talking.
"So Zach, get anywhere with the girl last night?" A guy with a rougher voice said laughing a little.
"That's none of your business Russel" Zach growled taking me to my room. He locked the door behind him. He pushed me onto my bed. His eyes sharp as he took his top off. He put his hands to my belly and slipped my shirt off. He slowly kissed my neck, which sent a shiver down my back.
I had fallen asleep after everything took place. He was pretty good at that. When I opened my eyes, he was talking outside the door. I moved around the bed before I found the edge. I slipped over to my closet and slipped some clothes on. He stepped back into the room. His eyes soft but yet filled with fire.
"Good morning doll." He said softly, his eyes showed nothing but coldness. He kissed my face softly. "It is time you met Marc, you can come in Marc." A tall and stocky guy, around 6'5 stepped in the room. He looked quite like me, it was weird. He had auburn hair with lighter ends. I used to have that color hair, until I dyed it blonde.
"I've heard alot about you Casey, but the one thing I'm confused about is your last name. Last time I remember, Ashton had the last name of Reberen." Marc said looking me up and down. I backed up.
"How Do you know my mom?" I Muttered backing into Zach who had positioned himself behind me.
"She used to work here a long time ago, we let her go when she was pregnant." Marc said putting a hand on my shoulder. I pulled away from his hand only to fall onto Zach.
"Get away from me!" I muttered as Zach grabbed my arms.
"You have no right to talk to me like that, Daughter!" He said slapping me. I whimpered, before kicking his legs, causing him to fall. I pulled away from Zach but he grabbed me again and tightened his grip.
"Stay Still." Zach hissed in my ear. His breath hot on my neck.
"You'll never be a dad to me!" I hissed.
"I hope eventually gain your trust one day. Any way I am going out, Watch over the place Zach. There better be food ready when I get back." Marc said as he turned to leave.
"Dear My only love, There are so many beautiful things that you do not know yet. There are things I have kept from you, for your own safety. I deeply request that you spend your time wisely and explore the world, as I will never be allowed to." I said loudly tearing up as I did so, "There will be things that you won't forgive me for, and I am sorry. You will do wonderous things in your life. I Hope you find someone to settle down with. You deserve so much more than I could provide. May the birds forever fly, and the sky forever be clear. You were my sun, and I your moon. If you are to read this my earthly conscious is gone. With love, Mom." I saw Marc stop and look back. I wiped my eyes quietly.
"She's dead?" Marc said his voice shocked as he stood there.
"She's been dead since January, I've been living on my own for almost a year now." I said pulling away from Zach. Marc shook his head and walked out.
"Casey, are you ok?" Zach asked turning himself to where I could see his face.
"I am Fine." I said softly as he wiped my eyes for me. His lips caressed mine as he kissed me gently.
"If you say so." He said softly. He stood up and held his hand out for me to stand up. I took his hand slowly. "You are still mine though." He whispered picking me up.
It was a week after that incident, and it seemed to be working, I would cook the meals, they would eat it and then I was free to do whatever I wanted to do, unless Zach wanted to do something with me.
I was walking to my room quietly when I didn't feel good and felt like I was going to throw up. I ran to the bathroom and threw up. I hadn't eaten yet, so I was slightly confused. I headed to my room and laid down. It wasn't long before I threw up again. Zach popped his head in, his eyes gentle.
"You okay Casey?" He asked walking over to where I was.
"I don't feel good." I moaned looking at him.
"What's been happening?" Marc said from the doorway.
"I just threw up two times over thirty minutes." I mumbled.
"Have you taken a pregnancy test?" Marc asked his eyes soft but yet not as soft as Zach's. I shook my head. "Asher go get a pregnancy test please!" Marc yelled from the doorway.
"Do you really think she could be pregnant?"
"We all heard you having sex that night." Marc said as Asher came in with a boxed pregnancy test. I took it quietly to the bathroom. I took the test and washed my hands quickly before looking at it. Positive how could this be? I took it in my hand and walked silently back I handed the test to zach before laying back down.
"Casey! That's great! I'm gonna be a father!" Zach said kissing my forehead. His eyes soft as he rubbed my shoulder.
"So she is pregnant?" Marc said grabbing the test. "That's great, but Zach. If you ever hurt MY Daughter you will get the worst punishment we have here." He growled looking Zach in the eyes before he headed out.
"Do you want anything?" Zach asked looking me in the eyes, his gaze soft.
"Ice creammmm." I mumbled. My eyes soft as I moved to stand.
"Stay here, Casey."
"No! I wanna walk around!" I muttered standing up. Zach shook his head I started walking to the kitchen. Zach followed closely.
"Are you sure? The baby could get hurt!" Zach said, a couple of the guys stopped speaking, to listen in.
"The baby isn't even a fetus yet! It's an embryo!" I muttered looking up at him, his eyes a gentle Blue. I glared at him before getting myself Icecream. I went into the living room and plopped on the comfiest chair, although I had to push Asher out.
"Hey!" Asher muttered looking at me from the ground. I shoved a spoonful of Ice cream in my mouth and glared at the other guys.
"Hey Vincent I guess Zach did get far. Too far." Russell said laughing a bit. Zach glared at them.
"Dude! Did you or did you not? Are you a father?" Vincent asked his voice gruff as he grabbed Zach and pinned him against the wall. I grabbed a knife from the stand and walked over to them.
"Let go of him!" I growled looking at Vincent.
