You know that wild fires can be lethal and deadly and can even cost you everything you own so when I tell you a story of one don't be one to joke. I went with my friend Jackson up to his uncle's cabin for the summer. It was fine for the first few weeks till for some reason we kept finding burned parts of the forest near the cabin. Me and Jackson knew we were miles away from the nearest town so telling someone about would be doing to much so we ignored it. That was our worst mistake. One night me and Jackson are sleeping and I wake up feeling very hot, I look out side and see just a field of fire, I hurry and go wake up Jackson, he grabs his things and we make a run for the car. We get in the car started and realized the front wooden gate was closed so Jackson told me to put my seat belt on and to hold on, he preceded to ram the gate breaking through it going straight down the dirt path. I look out the window and see giant flames and I feel like I'm in hell. We were going at least full speed. We're freaking out when suddenly we see the town and there was a evacuation center there we went to. We made it out of that deadly night, when the wild fires stopped, me and Jackson went back to the cabin and found nothing left to see. If I didn't wake up that night we would be dead. I will never forget the burning forest.
