Ancient healers are extremely rare. They are werewolves who can and/or have the ability to heal the wounds of other werewolves, and some even animals and humans. With that beung said, not all ancient healers are werewolves either. That's right, they can be human as well.
These ancient healers are wiser than regular werewolves or humans, and usually are very attractive, but don't be fooled.. ancient healers are known to be sneaky.
Most ancient healers are extremely skilled witches, joining with the werewolves just like their ancestors first did. But some, doing so only with evil intentions of controlling the beasts, using them only for safety, and in return not really caring what happen to them, as long as the witch had protection.
Ancient healers are also extremely empathetic, being able to read people's intentions or feelings very clearly. Trust me, you'd want an ancient healer in your pack, everyone does, but most are hidden, scattered across the world. This is because when rogues found out about ancient healers abilities, they became greedy, and kidnapped the ones they could fine, using them to heal people within their own small groups, then killing the ancient healer so the Packs wouldn't have a Theta. Some ancient healers were able to escape, but most.. were not.
Ancient healers are also hidden among humankind, because if they exposed themselves to others, they would only be labeled, put in the low category of werewolves and witches, which was, in a way, exactly what they were.
