This is a short story I was required to write for school, and I decided to share it with you all. :)
This is written by me, Emma Harrison, and not Michelle. I'm sorry if that frusturates you - I'll get an account as soon as possible.
This story is an elaboration on a real event. Jesus, Jairus, and his daughter are all real people. Her name, though - Rachel - I made up. Rachel's mother, as well as her brother Josias, are both characters of my own creation. Rachel being raised to life and the healing of the woman actually happened, and you can read about it in Mark 5:21-43.
