The Story Of Juvia's True Love

Chapter 13

Gray's POV

~ 7:00 p.m.~

My date with Juvia was great. We went on a lot of exciting rides and luckily none of us vomited. We ate some ramen for  lunch and decided to go to the petting zoo and as time passed by we ended up on the ferris wheel. This I remembered clearly...we sat close to each other since she was getting cold. I hugged her all the way through the ride until we finally reached the top. I pushed her away gently as I slowly kissed her soft lips. Her eyes widened but eventually shut as she kissed back. 

As we pulled away from each other we both blushed and sat there quietly until the end of the ride. That felt like a really special moment between me and Juvia. I really wish I would have noticed how special Juvia was before any of this happened. Maybe if I would have just been able to accept my feelings for her none of this would have been happening. 

Erza was right...I might have just lost my chance with her but I hope that maybe this date will bring her back to me. My dear Juvia-sama~ 

I couldn't help but get flustered at the thought. We were currently walking to Juvia's place but she seemed pretty tired so we stopped at a park nearby where we layed down on the grass and chatted about multiple things like our pasts, and fun missions that we'd been on. Eventually she ended up falling asleep so I carried her home and woke her up once we got there. 

She got off of my back all flustered and embarrassed which I thought was cute. She took out her key and opened the door welcoming me inside of her home. As I walked in we drank some tea but I knew that she was tired so I told her that I should go but that's when she said those two special words that change us forever...

" Please stay "

Juvia's POV 

~ The next morning~

I woke up and noticed that Gray was long gone I couldn't help but feel sad that he was gone. After yesterdays date I think me and him have finally gotten closer in some way. 

I lazily got up from bed and took a shower. As I exited the bathroom I started to think about what to wear since I knew that Natsu would be coming soon for our date. I put on a white spring dress that went all the way to my mid-shins 

( A/N : Just like the dress shown at the beginning of the chapter)

I ate breakfast and sat down on my sofa waiting for Natsu. I waited for hours and hours and he never came. Did I assume that he would just be there whenever I wanted him to? I guess I might have thought too much into this. I eventually got tired of waiting and went to the guild. When I walked in everyone immediately looked at me, that's when I realized that I was still wearing the dress I quickly walked to the bar and sat down trying to ignore the stares that most guys were giving me. 

 Mira ,obviously first to notice my awkwardness, walked over to me and and offered me a glass of water. I gladly accepted as it helped to cool me off. She later on walked up to me and I already knew what she was going to say. 

" So what's up with the fancy get-up" she said while wiggling her eyebrows. I blushed but told her anyways.

" Well I had a date but The guy didn't show up ..." her eyes immediately widened as she balled up her fists

" Who's the guy! I'll get him wherever he is" she shouted, but of course nobody noticed since the guild was still as noisy as ever.

" It's fine Mira- san. I just got too comfortable." 

" You'll find someone , don't worry about it" she said calming down 

" Yeah um anyway now that we're in this topic I just remembered...Have you seen Natsu ?" i asked curiously

" Actually  yeah he and Lucy went on a mission and...." she trailed off as her eyes widened. " Wait a minute... sine when do you care about Natsu's whereabouts? and what do mean by 'now that we're in this topic' ? " she gasped " Is he the guy who stood you up?" she whispered 

I couldn't help but blush " N-no of course not!" I exclaimed nervously

" He is isn't he!? " 

" Y-yes but you can't tell anyone " I said carefully 

" Ooh ~" she wiggled her eyebrows again " wait...but what about Lucy?" 

" I hadn't thought about that " I said as I lowered my head 

" Everything will be alright just follow your heart okay?" she said putting a thumbs out to me 

I slowly smiled at her as I got out of my seat and bid farewell while walking out of the guild. As I walked home I decided to go talk to Erza and maybe sort of get some counseling from her. As I got closer to fairy hills I saw two figures against a tree. I couldn't quite see who they were but it seemed as if they we...kissing! WOW...I blushed...how bold of them to do such a thing in such a public area. 

As I walked closer I was able to determine who those two figures were. My eyes widened as I stood still. How? Why? I didn't know what to do so I continued to walk until I couldn't bear it anymore and started to run. I ran  into fairy hills and straight to Erza's room. I can't believe he would do this to me. 

Natsu's POV

Lucy and I went on a mission today because I figured we hadn't hung out in a while and she really needed some money. I really wanted to finish early and go on the date with Juvia but there were some set backs and I came really late l decided that I would just walk Lucy to Fairy Hills since she moved there recently. When we arrived I bid her farewell and was about to go and say sorry to Juvia. That's when I it happened....she kissed me. Lucy kissed me I was too shocked to pull away. I didn't know what to do.  I saw a shadow go walk behind Lucy...I followed it as my eyes widened even more. I can't believe it. It was Juvia. Why did she have to come here now out of all the moments. 

I pushed Lucy away saying sorry and running away. I couldn't go inside of fairy hills and I would wait outside but Lucy was there so I walked to Juvia's house and decided to wait for her there. I hope she'll understand that this was all a misunderstanding.
