Happy?
Happy, even though it’s a small word it can mean a lot. When was I most happy? I was most happy when I went to visit my aunt for spring break.
I don't get to see them often because they live in North Carolina. Being able to see my Aunt Mary, Cousins Cristina and Angela and my grandparents made me very happy. We were able to hang out, go to the park and some of her favorite places.
Even though it was just for a week it made me and everybody very happy. I was able to keep a secret for over 6 months to surprise my grandparents. Which was hard on everybody involved.
What makes me happy the most is to make the people around me happy.
Saying without thinking.
A lot of times you react without thinking. One time that I react without thinking is when I am talking to my teachers and they start to yell at me or don't understand me.
One time that this happened was when I was talking to my science teacher about getting my work that I would miss. After about 5 minutes of us arguing both of our voices started to rise. I was very anger with him because he kept saying that I was putting sports in front of my grade which was not true.
After I stormed out of the classroom my emotions were running very high. It took me about an hour and a half to calm down and think about that happened. Which I was calming down I thought of ways to try and talk to my teacher with a calm voice.
I was later able to talk to him with a calm voice and everything went okay.
Sister’s wedding.
A long 6 months after getting told I would be a bridesmaid in Katie's wedding it happened. June 17th 2012 my sister Katie got married.
If you would have asked me six months ago how I felt or the words that went through my head I would have told you "I don't know how I feel about this should I be happy or sad, my sister isn’t even 20 is she stupid?"
Ending my 10th grade year of high school, my sister Allison graduating high school and Katie having her first child Dakotas’; a wedding just adds to the stress. I knew that my mom was upset about this fact. She was upset and happy that her oldest child was getting married.
"Let’s do this," Katie says as it is time to get ready for her walk down the aisle with my father. Entering first is the maid of honor, best man and baby Dakota. Then me and my partner Dallas, Allison and Sam and then finally Katie and our father.
Seeing the tears falling down my parents face, I had to fight to resist the tears. The pastor says for everybody to sit down it was real. After saying the vows and everything the pastor said: "You may kiss the bride." after that I knew it was real.
A million pictures later I asked Katie "How does it feel I am proud of you"
"It feels great. I love you baby sister" She said to me with a huge smile on her face.
"I love you too Katie” I said back.
"It’s party time!” My cousin Sam says. The first dance was with husband and wife it was pretty. Then came the bridesmaid and groomsman dance. Wasn't sure how I would feel because the guy I was dancing with, Dallas was 6'5. "Not cool," I told Katie. The dance as a whole was very beautiful.
The rest of the time was left to party with best friends and family. I loved it. My sister was officially married.
Over all the day as a whole was very beautiful. It was amazing seeing family members and friends for a great wedding.
My sister’s wedding a great day.
