Chapter 5

Kaira and Shubam talk for sometime and Karthik dozes off. "Kitna cute lag raha hai na mera Mendak." Naira pinches his nose. "Bhai kiss ka hai." Shubam lifts his eyebrows. "Accha yeh bata meri academy ka kaam ka kya hua?" Naira asks. "Next week it will be set. You will have the enough time to be ready for winter holidays." Shubam tells her. "Best bhai in the world." She grins. The Singhania and Maheshwaris enter just at that time and hear Naira. Naksh feels jealous and bad all over again but keeps those feelings aside for now. "Karthik yahan kyun so raha hai?" Naksh asks noticing Karthik sleeping with his head on Naira's lap. "Neend aya usko. Aap sab ek saath?" Naira ask him. "Hamme tumse kuch important baat karni thi." Naitik tells her. "JB, main chalta hoon, Karthik utt." Shubam is about to wake him up. "Sonne de usse. Aur tum bhi kahi nahi ja rahe ho. Aap iss ke saamne baat kar sakthein hain. Baat meri baare main hai toh isse toh main vaise bhi bataungi." Naira tells them. "Naira jab tum soo rahi thi Shubam aur Karthik ne hum ko tumare ghar chodne ka karan bataya. Princess tum sirf aadi baat janti ho, uss din kuch aur hua tha." Naitik explains. "Jab ghar main police aye hue the unn logon ne kaha ki tumse puch tach karna hai. I just told them that you are innocent and it will not happen but if they doubt you I'll will take you to them myself. Main hamesha tumpe vishvaas kiya beta, I never doubted you." Akshara cries. "Aur uske baad jab tum call kiya muje main akela hi aa raha tha. Akshara ko pata chala ki Sukanya ki boyfriend wahan kahan tha issi liye woh aa rahi thi. Usse pehchane ke liye, tuje police ki havele karne ke liye nahi." Naitik tells her the whole thing. Naira throughout the whole conversation remained silent and showed no emotion. "Shub, take my place. Hold Karthik." Naira says. "Tu kahi nahi jaye gi. Ab tuje saara sach pata hai na, ab toh teri family ko accept karle." He tells her. "Mujhe maa aur pa se baath karni hai akele main." She tells him. "Naira hum chalenge tum baath karo Bahu aur munna se." Badi dadi tells her. Naira nods her head negatively and says "Shubam phone do." "Naira baad main baath kar unn dono se." Shubam tries telling her. "Agar woh mumma papa se baat karna chathi hai toh tum kaun ho rokne wale?" Naksh grits his teeth. "Maa aur papa yeh aunty uncle nahi hai. Meri bade papa aur badi maa hai. Karthik ki parents. Issi liye baad main baat karne ko keh raha hoon. Aur main isska best friend and de, bhai hoon." Shubam answers back but his mess doesn't go unnoticed by Naksh. In mean time Naira left to the balcony and dailed their number. "Shubam kahan hai tu? Aaj milne nahi aa raha hai kya?" A female voice is heard. "Maa.." Naira almost cries. "Naira? Kya hua tum teek hoo na? Sab teek hai na? Ro kyun rahi ho?" The lady asks. "Kya hua Suvarna?" A male voice asks. "Main galat thi papa. Yahan sab mujpe vishvaas kiya sirf maine nahi. I left them for no mistake of theirs. I feel very bad."  Naira cries. "Beta kuch nahi hua. Rona band karo. You did not know. Agar tujhe sach pata hota kya tum chali jathi ghar se? Abb rona band karo, face wash karo and give mumma papa a big hug and say sorry." Manish consoles her. Karthik also wakes up not feeling Naira. He sees everyone staring at the balcony at Naira who was on phone. He looks at Shubam who signals him to go there. Opening the balcony door made Naira's crys audible to everyone. Karthik goes inside and Naksh is about to stop Karthik. "She will only listen to him. She needs to stop crying now." Shubam tells him. "Crying? Tume kaise pata ki woh roo rahi hai." Gayu asks. "She is guilty. I know her for 10 years, I understand her." He replies and smiles. "Aunty, Uncle I'm sorry purre sach jane bina I said those words to you." He folds his hands. "It's ok beta. Thank you for being with our Naira all these years." "I'll always be there aunty." He says and looks at his brother who had managed to stop her cry and kisses her forehead. Naira smiles at him and hugs Karthik tight fitting perfectly in his arms. The family looks at them shocked, not understanding whats between them.
