One thing that my, oh so wonderful and thoughtful, mother did not think of was school. I had to go to school today, so what was I supposed to do with Aaron? Was he even old enough for school? I don't know how to enroll a kid! I shouldn't have to either!
I slump my way into the kitchen and open up the cabinet to the right of the sink and pull out the Phone book. I'm going to need someone to babysit the little rascal. Just then my phone rings.
Derek.
I feel a tiny bit of nerves thinking about the kiss we had shared the other day, and then suck it up and answer the phone.
"Hello?"
"Hi neighbor." He says, and I can hear the smile in his voice.
"What do you need..neighbor?" I ask.
"My mom left last night, so I'm ditching school. Just thought I would invite you to the celebration."
"Actually, that sounds nice. If you don't mind having to babysit on the one day you have off school." I say it sarcastically, but he answers.
"Sounds fine to me. I love kids." Wow. I didn't know how to react to that, but my stomach sure did.
"Well prepare. He is a bundle of energy." I say.
"Come over whenever."
"Okay." I hang up with a smile on my face. I had today figured out, but I can't take off of school until my mom comes back. I'd have to figure something out.
I peek into my mom's room and see Aaron sitting up in the bed, which looks humungous compared to his tiny body, and rubbing his eyes.
"Hey." I whisper.
"Good morning Ellie." He says in the cutest little raspy voice.
"I have someone I want you to meet today." I said with a smile. I just knew that he would love Derek, almost as much as I knew Derek would love him.
He smiled In return.
"So get dressed. He lives just next door."
He got up to get dressed and I shut the door to give him some privacy. I walked to my room to get ready myself and texted Soaps about how I won't be at school today.
'Niether is your hottie either. Hmmm. Suspicious.'
What? Damen wasn't going to school either?! That would just be one hot (and totally awkward) mess if they were both there at Derek's. Those are my two first kisses.. Seems like I couldn't get rid of my nervousness after that text.
'I didn't know Damen wasn't going to be there..?' I text back.
'He told Josh yesterday night.' She replies.
"Great." I say aloud.
'You're still coming over today right?' I ask.
'Yep!' She replies.
I just couldn't wait until they were all out of school. I needed my friends, I wasn't too crazy about something though.
I'd have to tell Sophie that Derek and I kissed. I felt so bad. He is her crush! I'm so horrible!

..............
Me and Aaron were greeted at the door by an arrow.
Weird right? Not for me and my life.
The door had been wide open (which by the way is very dangerous. Don't try at home.) and Derek, as I later found out had been practicing his (horrid) bow and arrow skills.
