I woke to an alarm at around 6.
It's Saturday..Why was it going off this early?
My phone rang. I answered it, "Hel-"
A big, happy scream came from the other end, and I held it away from my ear until whoever called started talking. "I'm getting married today! Hazel and You need to be here by 7:30. Take your car not hers. Okay?"
SHIT. "Okay, I'll call her an-"
"No need, I already did. she should be at your house in five. Bye!" she hung up.
Hazel got here not too longer, "She's crazy."
I nodded, "I know. But she's been a friend of ours throughout high school."
We shrugged, at least there was free beverages and food.
We grabbed all our stuff and continued to the church.
After getting our dresses and hair done for hours- Literally hours. It took that long to have all of our hair, nails, and make up done- we went to the park to get pictures taken, then we went to the church to prepare the boquets and everything else.

At the after party, Hazel and I had a little fun. We danced and laughed eith some of the people we knew who came and got complimented on everything else.
"Rachel?" someone behind me asked, "Is that you?"
"Um, who-" I turned around, "STEVE?"
Oh, no. Not him. Fucking- he broke my heart to pieces.
"What do you want?" I asked, my arms crossed.
He came really close to me, like slow dance close. "A slow dance."
I smiled, "Alright, well no funny business."
"What would that mean?" He smirked, putting my hair behind my ear.
I pulled back from him. "What are you doing?" I asked. "Because I'm extremely uncomfortable with it and rather you stop."
"What's wrong? Highschool getting the best of you?" An old friend but also kind of a douchebag said. I turned around.
"Jim, can you not?"
Jim smiled, "Come on, it's a wedding. Have fun."
We were on the dancefloor and a slow song came on so we went to each other to dance.
"The thing is, I'm not."
"What's up?" He asked.
"Well," I sighed again. "Steve being here totally caught me off guard and made me really emotional inside and I didn't want it to come out. Because you know everything that happened."
"And what's the other part of it?" Wow, he knows me so well.
"I have other boy issues going on right now. Recently got into a relationship after a make out fest with one of his friends. But we're over it. That's not it, though."
"Woman, get to the point." He joked but was more serious.
I whispered the rest in his ear. "He stops whenever we're getting into it, yknow, like sex. He always stops before it gets there."
"Maybe he's afraid," Jim said. "Maybe he just doesn't want to yet."
I shrugged, "I should ask him. But if it happens again, I will. You're still cool, Jim."
"You too, Rach."
"Let's go," I told Hazel.
"Just thinking that before you went and talked to Jim."
