He's not actually that bad...
Park Jimin huh? I guess, as I first saw him glide gracefully into the practice room when Namjoonn hyung called him out, I knew that he was quite experienced in dance. The way his feet moved so smoothly in first position... yep I'm certain. But as soon as I heard his voice, so quiet and shaky, a firing anger was boiling in me. I thought about my earlier conversation with Hobi hyung about passion... and then, there was Park Jimin, just suddenly joining us on the day of debut, Judgement day, I know that he knows if he doesn't give it his all we would all... suffer... very painfully...
Why is he here?
I hated his presence then, the way he looked so vulnerable and 'cute', the way he was so easily flustered, the way his hair whisked around in all directions... it makes him look so weak, I despised it. He didn't look as is he would be a great asset for our team.
"Jungkook," I was shaken out of my trail of thoughts by 'him'. Jimin just stared into my eyes, softening as he quickly realised the frown on my face.
"I don't know what I have done to disappoint you, but I will try harder to please you all and save us all from... " I gulped aggressively, as he placed his hands on my shoulders.
Wow so much height difference.
Without hesitation I pushed him away from me.
"Ah, ow!" Jimin yelped as he fell to the ground, I guess I pushed too hard.
"YA JUNGKOOK!" Suga hyng's eyes were glowing like an ember of fire, pinning me down. Cold and tired I decided not to argue, and set my gaze away from him. Clearly frustrated, I could hear his long, shaky breaths.
From the corner of my eye, I could see Jin hyung comforting him and feeding him cookies.. Ugh. After that they refused to talk to me. The air seemed soo heavy, it felt soo burdensome. Even Jimin still beamed at me, his eyes glowing like a distant star... fading...
Why? Why was he still trying to be friendly with me...
"STOP IT!" I cursed under my breath, realising I said that out loud.
Everything stopped. The silence hung in the air like veil wrapped around us.
"Jungkoo-" As Leader hyung had began to speak, the loudspeaker turned on and the national anthem began to play. Immediately, as if it had been engraved into our brains, we stood rigidly, saluting. Because I knew that the Judges would have been watching us, making sure we were being 'good' boys...
"All trainees, please begin to move to Room 100 for your performances. You have half an hour." A shiver ran down my spine... so close yet so far. Stunned and shocked we stood still like lifeless bodies, just looking at each other our confidence reaching lower than Taehyung hyung's low notes.
Wait.
Where was he?
" Guys where's TaeTae Hyung?" No one asked why I called him by his childhood nickname, instead they inhaled sharply.
My heart sank to the bottom of the ocean.
How could I have forgotten?
