My eyes closed as I stopped the alarm clock. I pushed my body up off the bed and zombie-walked over to the bathroom. I showered quickly hopping out and putting on a pair of light-wash jeans and an Aeropostale shirt. I combed through my light brunette locks. I blow dried it quickly and straightened it, not wanting to deal with my curls today. I quickly brushed on some makeup, glanced at the clock, and rushed to my car, bag in hand. I started my car and soon arrived at the horrid place called school.
I scanned the lot for a place to park and noticed I parked by Nick. Thank god. I jumped out and hugged him smiling.
"I missed you so much!!" I said.
" I missed you too, babe." he said with a small smile.
"Babe?" I asked.
"Yep." he smiled.
" Why?" I questioned.
" Cuz that's what best friends are for." he winked. I laughed and walked to the school with him hand in hand. No, we aren't dating. I immediately dropped his hand when his girlfriend, a blond skinny girl, walked, more like stick-out-boobs-and-butt-walk-strut-thing came up to him. Lindsey. She just kissed him and got so close to him I thought she would go through him. I waved to him and walked away.
" Hey sweety." Sam said.
" Hey honey." I smiled
My boyfriend of 2 years grabbed my hand and walked with me to my locker. I swung it open searching for my history book. I grabbed it and set it in my cradled arms with my binder. I locked up my locker, pecked Sam's lips, and walked to class. I sat down in the back next to Lily and April two of my three best friends and smiled.
" Hey, how are you guys?" I said half heartedly.
" Good." they both said still exhausted.
I chuckled. And listened to the teacher go on and on about some King Toot, Tut, same thing. I started daydreaming, thinking about Nick and Sam. Sam is a brunette, he wears his hair windswept to the side. He is a lot taller then me. I love him. We've been dating since freshman year.
Then there's Nick, jet-black hair, styled wind swept as well. He is also taller then me. We have been best friends ever since we were babies. He lives next door to me. are parents get along. Well our moms... My dad hates Nick and his dad because he thinks Nick and I are going to date, well mayb-no.

I was broken out of my trance by the bell. I rushed to my locker and pulled out my Geometry book and plopped it on my binder.
" Hey Baby." said Sam." Do you wanna come to the movies tonight?"
"Yeah. Pick me up at 7." I smiled.
He smiled and nodded heading to his next class. I headed to geometry searching for a seat. I spotted a seat next to Sarah and Audrey. Sarah is my other best friend.
Sarah has brown hair and beautiful eyes.
April has jet-black waves and grey eyes.
Lily has black hair and dark eyes.
They're all gorgeous I've known Sarah since I was 11 and April since I was 10. I met lily in 8th grade. But we are like sisters.
I started doing my geometry and Audrey, Queen Bee passed me a note, great.
Dear Nicole,
Sam is mine, stop touching him.
Dear Audrey,
He's my boyfriend dear.
Sarah sent me a questioning look, I shook my head, meaning I'd tell her after school. she nodded. I finished my work just in time for the bell. I walked out of class and was slammed into a brick wall as I shut my eyes as pain swelled my head. I opened them to see Audrey.
"Break up with Sam." she growled.
"No." I said sternly.
She started hitting me until Nick came and yanked her off me.
" You have been warned." she said. I hugged Nick his body tense with anger. He gently pulled away.
" Are you okay?" he said worried. I nodded
My eyes went wide when I saw blood on his shirt.
" I'm sorry.." I whispered. I felt my nose.
Yep it was bleeding. I walked to the bathroom and cleaned it up. When I came out Nick had changed.
"Don't let her hurt you. Okay?" he asked.
"I don't want to hurt her, Nick." he frowned but nodded his head. He headed to his class.
April, Lily, and Sarah came up to me.
" What happened??!" Sarah said.
"Who do I need to kill." April growled.
"You look funny." lily laughed and April threw her daggers. She put her hands up in defense.
"Audrey hit me, it's not that big of deal. And Lily, thanks you do too." I said.
"C'mon lets kill her." April clenched her fists and began to walk towards Audrey. I pulled her back.
"No, don-" I was cut off.
"She fu**ing hurt you." she said.
" It's okay." I said waving and walking to class.
APRIL'S P.O.V.
"I will kill that bit**" I muttered.
Sarah shrugged and we went to class. Ugh I hate science.
