Steve and I were now at the hospital. Steve was looking for the flash drive, that Nick Fury had given him. It had a bunch of files from SHIELD on it. We couldn't find it, until we ran into Natasha.
"Where is it?" Steve asked.
"In my pocket" Natasha said.
"Give it to me" Steve said.
"Why did Nick Fury give it to you?" Natasha asked.
"It's going to help us find out what SHIELD is up to" Steve said.
"We have a new enemy" Natasha said.
"Who?' Steve asked, pulling me close to him.
"They call him The Winter Soldier. He wears a mask, has a metal arm, and wears heavy armor" Natasha explained.
"I saw him. He is the one who shot Nick Fury. I chased him, but he got away" Steve said.
"Babe, I'm scared, really scared" I said.
"I know sweetheart. I will keep you safe." Steve said.
"I know you will. Am I coming with you?" I asked.
"We don't know what were are up against. I know a place that you'll be safe, and only I can find you there" Steve said.
"Okay babe, I just want you to be safe" I said.
"You know I will, honey" Steve said.
(Some time later)
We came up to a small house, outside of the city. It was a friend of Steve's, where I was going to be staying at. A man met us outside. He was tall, had dark skin, short black, and facial hair.
"Hey dude" The man said.
"Hey man, thanks for this. My wife needs to lay low, until things calm down" Steve said.
"Hey, it's no problem. She'll be safe here" The man said.
"Honey, this is Sam. He is a friend of mine, and running mate in the mornings" Steve introduced me.
"It's nice to meet you, Mrs. Rogers" Sam said, holding out his hand.
"It's nice to meet you too. I'm Jessy" I said, shaking his hand.
We all walked inside. Steve followed me into the guest room, and helped me get settled in.
"Sam, can you give us a minute?" Steve asked.
"Of course man, take your time" Sam said.
Sam walked out of the room. Steve put his hands on my waist, and gazed into my eyes.
"I will call you every day, via cellphone, to check on you" Steve said.
"I know you will be babe, just be safe" I said.
"I will, honey" Steve said.
Steve pressed his head against mine, still gazing into my eyes. He placed both of his hands on my cheeks.
"I love you so much, my darling wife" Steve said.
"I love you so much too, my sweet husband" I said.
Steve kissed me, and he wrapped his arms around me. Then, Steve kissed my forehead.
"I will return for you" Steve said.
"I know you will" I said.
"I love you" Steve said.
"I love you too" I said.
Steve kissed me again. Then, Steve and Natasha rode off on their mission, to find out more about The Winter Soldier. I loved Steve so much, and he was an amazing husband. I knew that he would come back to me. I wanted my Captain America to be safe.
