He saw the man he kissed on that cold fall night. the one he sat with on that curb, hand in hand. the one he took by surprise when he grabbed his gentle face and kissed it.
He saw the man he said I love you to on that cold winter afternoon. the one he went to buy coffee with. the one he sat down in the back of the shop and talked to for a bit.
while shane talked about how grateful he was for him, he couldn't reply. all he could comprehend was "I love you."
he saw the one he hurt on that rainy winter night.
the one he stood in front of. the heartbroken, fragile soul he stood in front of, breaking him to pieces.
his soul hurt. why was he doing this? he needed him.
