Third Person POV

"Hey, Shuvi... He is real after all. We might have won, I guess...

But what's the point when you're not with me..."

Tet held the Suniaster close to his chest as it radiates a dazzling blue light. The azure blue light glowed more brilliantly when it came into contact with him. In the midst of the luminosity, Tet saw the man who entrusted the Suniaster to him. Riku laughs in disbelief of the God of Games 's existence.

But...on contrary to his weak smile, his eyes displayed contradicting emotions.

Pain.

Anger.

Hopelessness.

But mostly,

Despair.

Having to hold back his emotions for so long, he couldn't hold it any longer and let out a sorrowful cry. Tears were seen streaming down his cheeks like an endless waterfall.

The strong front he used to put up has crippled, fragments of it falling out to only reveal a broken soul who just lost the love of his life.

Maybe it was the pitifulness that he felt for Riku at that moment. Or maybe it was because he owns his title as the "One True God" to him.

Using his left hand to mimic a gun, Tet mumbled a short spell before shooting it towards the ruby ring Riku held.

FLASH!

Riku yelp at the sudden blast of white light that threatens to blind him. He used his hands to shield his remaining right eye. A few seconds later, Riku risk a glance. Instead of being greeted by the hellishly arena he was once on, he was now in a space that was completely white.

" Am.... am I ...dead already?"

"Well.. not yet."

Riku spin to the direction of the unknown voice and gasp.

Standing about five feet away were two figures. One of them was a blonde wearing a purple hat. His prismatic eyes shine with mischief. The other figure was just a familiar outline of...

"SHUVI!"

Riku frantically rushes towards the latter figure but stumbled on his injured feet, landing almost face-first to the floor.

"No Riku!"

Shuvi quickly fell to her knees to hold Riku up. However just before she could help him, she was pulled into a warm embrace. She felt the moisture of water on her left shoulder.

"Oh my g-god Shuvi, I-I'm so sorry ..." Riku squeezes Shuvi tightly, emphasizing on the apology he has just made.

"Have I known you were to leave me so soon, I would have never taken the rest that day. I should have to stay awake to be with you. I should have completed the installation quickly so that you didn't have to do it on my behalf. I should have finished this game alone and not drag you into this mess. I should have..."

"No. Please stop blaming yourself."

Riku froze when Shuvi spoke. He was still skeptical about whether this was just a dream.
However, hearing Shuvi's voice made him ditch such thoughts. Shuvi was also feeling the same way as well. Her vision started to blur as tears form on her eyes as well.
