. . . . . . . . . . .

Why hello there, the names Anysa which is simply prononced like uh-knee-sa but those who know me, preferably close people, call me Nessa for short. Your probably wondering why, but even you guys I'm positive already know. . . its mostly because according to them and most people in the world who I have encountered can either not pronounce my name correctly or even have a hard time trying. It's tiring correcting people all the time ,so all I say is, "Call me Nessa" and it works like a charm.

I live in a small town. Not to big, or small. Everyone minds their business, not all up in eachothers asses, thank god. I mean, I used to live in a small town when I was fourteen and I couldn't even talk to a guy friend on the street without someone accusing me of seeing them. . . in an intimate way, if you know what I mean. Thankfully, my parents moved out here in San Francesco where I met Sally, my ultimate bestfriend. I can tell her anything and everything. She has black hair which is cut in choppy layers, along with bangs cut to the side. She has gorgeous eye cathcing, topez orbs. I swear, she is like model status but isn't all that skinny. Shes average. Not to big, not to small. . . in the middle like me though I wouldn't consider myself beautiful at all. I have long aburn hair, bangs cut straight across but split enough for me to be able to see, with piercing green eyes and a beauty mark on top of my upper lip. The only thing I like about myself would have to be is my eyes, other than that. . . nothing.

I'm in the eleventh grade alongside my brother, Kevin. He's. . . well, how do I put this? protective. . like a normal older brother right? Wrong. He's a bit OVER-protective if you catch my drift. I can't even talk to= a guy without him giving them the death glare and threatening to hurt them if they ever hurt me. It's cute yet annoying. He's tall, way taller than me infact, I'm just a few inches apart from him. He has light brown hair put into small unsteadied spikes, and brown puppy dog eyes. He was a mess, a complete man-whore if I should say. . . honestly, I haven't seen him NOT bang a girl in like. . . ever. Thank god my parents work long hours or else, they'd kill him.

Then theres. . . Sammy. My brothers bestfriend---correction---my brothers hot bestfriend. He may be a stuck up, arrogant jerk, whose head is far up his ass but I can't help but feel. . . attracted to him. He's such a total badass, its intruging. He's also ranked on the high popularity scale along with my brother. Anyways. . . he's totally out of my league and way off limits. I mean, he's my brothers bestfriend. I could never, ever do that. It's against the male bestfriend code. . . unfortunately. Either way, I'm absolutely head over heels for him, but he doesn't know. . . he will probably never know and as far as I'm concerned I could never do anything to change that.

. . . . . . . . . . .

There was a gentle yet loud thud against my bedroom door, groaning I applied a fresh coat of light pink lip gloss from Sephora on my lips before grabbing my bag and books and opening the door. "What?" I spat harshly, my gaze soon falling upon Sammy's. I could feel my heart flutter numbly as I cleared my throat.

He snuck a quick senaky glance at me from head to toe. I was wearing whit jean shorts with a spagehtti strapped tanktop, a loose shirt over it that hung loosely across my right shoulder and flats. Licking his lips, Sammy leaned against the door frame, crossing his arms against his chest. "Whats with the attitude so early in the morning?" He chuckled, a small smirk playing his lips.

I growled lightly, rolling my eyes in the process. "What do you want, Sammy?"

"You." He winked playfully as I felt the warmth radiate against my cheeks, forming a light shade of crimson.

"Oh really?" I arched my thredded eyebrow upwards, crossing my arms across my chest.

"No." He grinned, as he stood up. "Kevin just wanted me to come tell you to hurry up and come downstairs."

"Whatever." I muttered. A part of me was hurt by his remark, yet another part of me was happy he didn't actually mean it since, I wouldn't even know what I would do if he did. . . "I'll be down in a minute." I spoke softly before closing the door in his face.

Checking myself in the mirror one last time this morning, I opened the door again as I closed it behind me soon making my way down the flight of stairs and out the door where Kevin honkede the horn to his convertiable, obviously impatient. Rolling my eyes, for the second time today, I made my way into the backseat. "Geez, Kev. Canyou be anymore, impatient?" I glared at him through the rearview mirror.

"If you haven't noticed, we've been waiting for you, forever now." Sammy barged in, snapping his head back to catch a glance of me before turning back around.

"Last time I checked, I wasn't talking to you." I sneered in response.

"Oh really?"

"Yes, really!"

"Will you two give it a rest?!" Kevin whined, turning up the volume to the radio. "I'm tired of hearing you two bickering like. . . like, a freaking married couple!" He groaned.

Sammy spinned his head in Kevins direction before jumping into a sharade of chuckles. "Me. . . and your sister, like a married couple? Your too funny."

Again, another jab to the heart. Sighing I laid my head against the palm of my hand. "He didn't mean it like that doofus." I hissed.

"Did I ask for your opinion on what you thought he meant? Not really."

"Oh but I don't recall asking you before to interupt my conversation with my brother, now did I? No. So turn around and shut the fuck up already."

"I am fully turned around, genius."

"Smooth comeback." I rolled my eyes for now, the third time.

"Whatever." He sat there, defeated.

"You guys are hopeless. . ." Kevin shook his head before parking in the schools parking lot.

"He started it." I mumbled before opening the back door and stepping out of the car. Instantly, my brother and Sammy made their way to their group of friends once Kevin locked the car doors and within seconds a group of girls made their way over to them as well. Catherine, Cathy for short made her way seductively over to Sammy, wrapping her arms loosely around his neck. Standing on her tiptoes, Cathy laid a simple kiss on Sammy's lips.

Oh, did I mention he also had a girlfriend?

While Cathy kissed Sammy, and I swore I could see her smirking as she did so, her eyes twitching towards mine then back to him. I suddenly felt uneasy, my stomach filling with a disgusting feeling. . . guilt, perhaps? Probably. Me and Cathy have been mortal enemies since I first moved here when she thought I was trying to steal her boyfriend at the time, Kyle. When honestly, I wasn't. . . he was coming on to me but of course she was thick headed and didn't even let me explain.

Sammy wrapped his arms tightly aorund her waist, deepening the kiss as he did so.

Walking away, I could feel the tears forming in my eyes. . . if only, he knew. . . but even if he did, could he possibly feel the same way? Probably not. I mean. . . he knew I'm off limits, but he isn't a total badass for nothing. Either way, me and him couldn't happen and I had to accept it one way or another. Taking one last glance towards the group, I swear I could see Sammy with his arm around Cathy, looking straight at me as I walked into the school building.
